Was on a motorbike trip so stopped at this pub on route. Friendly staff, decent food served and room to park the bike out front. Tea and coffee in the room, nice cafe up the road.

Nice location in nice village. Good dog friendly rooms and dog friendly bar. Good outdoor seating area upstairs. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Lighting in room was not great. Hard to see to read. Would have liked a comfortable chair instead of having to sit on the bed. For £70 a night I really would expect to have breakfast included

Location was great in a lovely village. Very quiet. Room was clean and bar staff friendly.
The mattress had uncomfortable springs sticking up which made it difficult to get comfortable. There was no breakfast available as they were short staffed. The bathroom was very shabby and in need of an upgrade and redecoration. Peeling paint on woodwork, sealant on shower tray had black mould on it and looked as though it had been poorly sealed over the top of previous sealant numerous times. The towel rail wasn't fixed to the wall properly and fell off. TV didn't work. Was unable to tune it in to any program.
