The room and bathroom were clean and well appointed and very comfortable with a good view from the bedroom window. The bar was well stocked and the staff were very friendly. The garden area was a good place to sit with excellent views of the surrounding countryside and the pub is a short walk to local village facilities

location is great , lots of outdoor activities in the garden , staff lovely and friendly. Plenty of tea and coffee available in the room .Nice food in the evening .Great breakfast ,excellent coffee choices
Bedroom was lovely and clean bed was to soft think it felt like it was ready for replacing.

Not much to be honest.
We thought when we booked that we would be surrounded by green space and a bowling green hence the name. Sadly a housing estate has been built where the bowling green used to be so that was disappointing and the whole building seemed a bit tired and in need of an update.
