The staff are amazing and super friendly!! Definitely take the time to try the dinner provided at the bar, the cook is amazing at his job and Alberto makes great cocktails. Pool is warm!

The constant music all day every day at the highest volume makes it impossible to relax. I can understand playing music at dinner time but starting early in the morning and then keeping it on until 10pm is really awful.

Super emplacement et personnel très gentil. Bonne ambiance sympa avec la piscine et le bar. Jolie jardin intérieur avec hamac pour se reposer.

La chambre n'avait que le minimum soit 2 lits et tables de chevets. Pas de commode pour ranger ses vêtements, pas de chaise ou fauteuil, aucune décoration sur les murs. Un peu tristounet. Et comme il a plu tout le temps , c'était difficile de trouver des endroits pour faire sécher notre linge!

Great value in an amazing location; perfect for a couple seeking tranquility in a busy town.

The location was amazing-- right in town! Loved the large balcony overlooking the main road. Spacious. Huge shower. Comfy beds. Cute courtyard/pool. Nice employees. Kitschy and fun. Walkable to absolutely everything.

We only stayed for one night, but it seemed extremely quiet there. At most, there was 1 or 2 people in the bar/pool area. This could be great for some people, though!

Hôtel comfortable idéalement situé, très bon rapport qualité/prix

L'emplacement idéal au coeur de La Fortuna, tout est accessible à pied et nous n'avons eu aucun souci à nous garer juste devant l'hôtel. La chambre est spacieuse et dispose d'un balcon (partagé). La salle de bain est spacieuse.

Malgré que l'hôtel soit très beau et propice aux rencontres, il y avait peu d'ambiance quand nous y avons séjourné. Le personnel n'est pas très souriant. La chambre manque de mobilier pour pouvoir poser ses affaires.

Lovely hotel/hostel but let down by the lack of noise insulation

Lovely communal area and generous sized bedroom and helpful staff

The bedroom’s position at the front meant we were exposed to the noise of the traffic especially the motorbikes that screeched past all night

Para quien se quiere ahorrar dinero y no busca comodidades

Bien relación calidad-precio. Sirven una piña colada de forma gratuita, la localización establecida bien.

No esperes lujos y comodidades, ni jabones de cortesía ni nada para colgar siquiera la toalla, o alguna mesita o armario.

Goede locatie en fijne sfeer.

Ziet er gezellig uit, is sfeervol, goede locatie en het personeel is gezellig en behulpzaam.

Omdat het veel regent is het fijn als er in de kamer een rek hangt waar je je kleding kan uithangen. Nu worden de kluisjes gebruikt om kleding en handdoeken uit te hangen.

A comfortable and fun place to stay for a few nights.

The room was huge with a comfortable queen size bed and air conditioning. The staff were friendly, and the hostel is right in the centre of town, close to the restaurants and bars.

The walls were thin so there was some noise from the neighbours.

Top Hostel mit schönem Aussenbereich

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Diego empfangen, der uns gleich zu beginn ein paar interessante Touren vorschlug. Unser Zimmer war super, sehr sauber, geräumig und das Bad ist auch Top. Am bestem gefiel uns der Aussenbereich, welcher viel Platz zur Entspannung und auch schöne Essplätzchen bietet.

Die Küche ist etwas knapp ausgestattet, es empfiehlt sich, ein Tupperware mitzunehmen, um evtl. daraus zu essen.

Highly recommended.

Lovely clean room with comfortable beds and air con. Nice pool and garden area for relaxing. I had mixed up some local travel arrangements and staff phoned the company and sorted it all on my behalf so really helpful.

Breakfast wasn’t included and you had to pay extra.

Helpful staff, private room was large and the hostel grounds are lovely!

Breakfast had plenty of options sweet and savoury + fruit and filled us up for our days of activities. Diego helped us sort our activities with transport included. Hotel grounds are lush with hammocks and sunbathers which were great for relaxing.

Road noise was loud, but the hostel can't really avoid this due to the central location.

El hotel esta bien ubicado, las instalaciones son agradables, el wifi funcionaba bien. El desayuno es bueno.

No es buena la atencion del personal de recepcion, ademas solo les interesa venderte tours, si no compras no te prestan mas atencion. Nos robaron bebidas y alimentos de la heladera comun, deberian buscar una forma de resolver este problema o poner frigobar en las habitaciones. La respuesta de la recepcion fue muy mala ante este hecho, basicamente nos dijeron jodanse nosotros no tenemos nada que ver. No recomiento este hotel.

Très bon rapport qualité-prix

Située en plein centre-ville, sécuritaire, très belle cour intérieure avec piscine, bar et hamacs, personnel très gentil et professionnel.

J'ai trouvée ma chambre très mal éclairée. Difficile de dormir tôt car on entend parfaitement la musique et les gens dans la cour intérieure le soir.

Well located but loud environment with thin walls.

The location is great, room was huge and the main area is nice.

The walls are super thin. We could hear everything (the animals on our roof, people downstairs, cars and motorbikes outside). We didnt sleep too well in the squeeky bed with the thin walls.

Great place to base your trip around Arenal

Great location, very friendly staff and chill vibes. The breakfast is extra $ but very good! Wonderful location in the center of town and they were super helpful in booking tours and onward travel!

My room near the street was very loud at night due to cars, etc. Not the hostel's fault, but something to be aware of.

La Climatisation ! Deux Premières nuits ok, j’ai trouvé la télécommande et ai pu régler. Mais l’ayant laissé visible sur la table de nuit elle a été récupéré et 3eme nuit impossible de régler (dormir dans le froid glacial, c’est compliqué)

L’emplacement centrale et le personnel qui était super gentil. Le patio avec la piscine et les hamac est génial. La chambre était grande avec la climatisation. Il n’y avait pas de lits superposés donc c’était très confortable. Le prix des excursions proposées était bien en comparaison avec d’autres hôtels.

La chambre et salle de bain étaient un peu désuet avec peu de meubles et de rangements mais c’est correct pour une auberge de jeunesse.

Spacious double room right in downtown

Perfect location right in the middle of town, nice little patio with chill areas, small pool, they really made it look like a small oasis in downtown. Spacious double room as well.

Don’t stay here. Staff very unfriendly.

Staff exceptionally unfriendly, unreasonable and unhelpful. Looks like a retirement park. Cold showers, loud music but no atmosphere.

Prima plek op gezellige locatie

Locatie was top, veel mazzel met mijn bed ( had een semi boxspring, andere meid naast me lag met spiralen in haar rug ) iedereen erg vriendelijk en easy going. Konden ook gebruik maken van zelfde hostel paar deuren verder waar je gebruik kon maken van t zwembad ( hier werd deze gemaakt )

Dat het iets verouderd is vind ik juist iets gezelligs geven maar keuken was wel echt vies, kapot en weinig opties om echt te kunnen koken. Hygiëne van de kok was ook twijfelachtig om netjes te omschrijven

They lie about many things. Also they have empty pool and try to cheat you for money.

Rooms are dirty, also smell no good. they will try to cheat you for money at the beginning when paying, they pretend to have their own unfavorable exchange rate for the dollar, be careful

Did the job for 1 night in Arenal

Great location, and met some friendly people in my room. Cute little tables and hammocks around the center encouraged meeting people

My particular dorm room had high ceilings so the ac didn't really help where I was sleeping. The receptionist who checked me in was helpful in providing tour information, but at one point it felt pushy, and then were was an issue on a price quote, which reminds me to have everything written down for the future.

Amazing environment, loved our stay here.

Fabulous atmosphere, loved the location, the staff, the pool, the common kitchen which made preparing our own meals easy. AC was great.
