Great hotel. The location was perfect. We could walk to restaurants and grocery stores. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We had a balcony that overlooked the volcano. The common areas were clean and very inviting. Breakfast was an added bonus!

The Staff here are AMAZING! We stayed for only one night before returning to SJO airport. We needed assistance with transportation and the staff here bent over backwards to make calls and help us. This property is clean and has a nice breakfast. The ONLY negative I would give it - the noise. If you cannot sleep with earplugs, you may want to look elsewhere. Otherwise, you cannot go wrong booking La Fortuna Lodge.

The front desk staff were very helpful, with the exception of one person on the first day afternoon staff who forgot to call a taxi for an early morning pick up for us the next day. What was really disappointing in this hotel however was how noisy it was sleeping at night. Not only was there noise from traffic and people partying across the street or walking nearby until late at night. There was also the rooster crowing every morning repeatedly starting around 4 AM. As if that were not enough it was also a noise from a large semi truck going down the road outside in the very early morning a couple of times. It was really difficult to get a good night sleep all three nights we stayed there with these repeated loud noises, starting in the evening and occurring repeatedly throughout the night.

We stayed one night and enjoyed our stay. It was a little hard to find as we came in late and it was dark. The check in process was easy and everything was explained well. Plenty of food options within a short walk. Breakfast was wonderful and good options. We would stay here again

Clean, Friendly and lovely staff. Room was small but adequate, esp. with larger bags. Short walk to main street. Volcano view was a bonus. Breakfast was a short walk to another nice Hotel/Restaurant with natural views.

We loved our volcano view! The room was well appointed with a king sized bed. Beautiful mosaics decorate the walls and give one a great sense of the beauty of the area.

Leire and the rest of the staff were vey courteous and helpful. We felt very comfortable and relax. The facilities were thought with a great taste and they have a lot of little details that makes your spirit feels the peace from it.

The service was wonderful. Location is away from the hustle and bustle of La Fortuna. So quiet. Breakfast arrangement at Xipalo restaurant is excellent and nice breakfast

The La Fortuna Lodge is fantastic. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The hotel is amazing with fantastic rooms and quaint gardens and outside seating. I would 100% recommend if staying in La Fortuna.

The personnel is great! The hotel is quite new and everything works nicely. Beds were good, good size rooms and bethrooms. The breakfast is served in a hotel nearby - it is ok, though not the best I’ve had, but the view is great. Very central as well, close to everything in town.

The front desk took care of helping us set up all of our adventures. They were awesome to work with. The room was beautiful with a view of the volcano. It is a smaller hotel, but the landscaping is very nice.

Great property! Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Lodge is very pretty and quaint. Great view of the volcano from our balcony. Close to restaurants. Breakfast is a short walk to a hotel behind the lodge, but worth it. Beautiful view of birds, wildlife from the restaurant. I'd definitely stay there again!

I loved how modern my room was with a perfect view of the volcano! Hotel was very clean. Loved breakfast! Staff was very friendly and I felt safe and relaxed. Things I didn't like: Although we had a coffee maker in our room, they (hotel) were charging $3 for coffee in the lobby...really, why be so petty, just offer a pot of coffee for free in the lobby for your guests! Hotel advertised toiletries including shampoo and conditioner, however when I got there, I was notified they no longer provide conditioner :( Update your site to reflect that! A few nights we heard loud music well into the night coming from a bar or disco (not sure). We were so tired from our daily activities that we slept through the noise most of the time.

Great little place right near main strip. Checking in was awesome, the guy behind the desk was so helpful, showing us the the room and talking to us about what we should try on our trip. Rooms were clean with a great view of the volcano off our balcony

La Fortuna suites was on the back of the central part of La Fortuna. You park your car and can walk to many great spots or eat or shop around. The view of the Arenal volcano is absolutely beautiful. The breakfast that was included was also good.

We stayed at La Fortuna Suites for 5 nights. Upon our arrival Noilynn made us feel immediately welcome and comfortable. She was so helpful with information on everything we needed to know. We loved this small boutique hotel with it's nice upgrades and beautiful sitting areas. It is very convenient for walking anywhere you need to go in the central area of La Fortuna. Highly recommend!

The best view of Arenal from the room patio! Very tranquil and quiet. Close to the central park, walk everywhere no problem. Staff kind and informative. Went to Soda, ate in room, refrigerator for leftovers. A large outdoor covered space with dishes and microwave and sink. Seating areas and water to fill up your water bottle. Will stay here again!

Very clean and well kept but the breakfast was very disappointing. $3 for a coffee in the lobby from a machine is quite steep. Our bathroom door was also very noisy to open and close. We paid for one bed suite but got two twins pushed together.

Everything was amazing. I loved my stay here. It was clean and the staff was truly incredible. We were greeted with a face towel and a traditional drink of Costa Rica. Staff in the front desk helped us with booking the activities we wanted to do and also helped us with transportation. The only thing I didn’t like was the A/C system, it didn’t get cool enough, therefore it was very humid in the room. Other than that, everything was great. Will stay here again.

It was a decent stay in middle of nowhere in a cloud forest. It’s 20 minutes away from town on a gravel road. We had a sedan but SUV would have been better as you never know when it will rain and will get muddy. There is no food around or restaurant on site so you have to order on an app, you have to pay cash upon delivery. They usually charge a bit more as it’s out of town than usual delivery charge. You have to order before 8pm. My recommendation would to be to definitely book if you want to be away for few days but if you want a little bit of everything, book in town. Very very friendly, helpful front desk and breakfast was good too. They have banana bread at all times. Clean rooms but sink basin does not have hot/warm water. Otherwise very peaceful to wake up to sounds of birds

Our stay at La Fortuna Suites to start our holiday in Costa Rica couldn't have been better! We got a free upgrade to one of the volcano view suites which was comfortable and spacious. It is very close to town and easily walkable to restaurants. The breakfast location was just a few minutes up the road with an absolutely beautiful view of the Arenal Volcano, with a lovely cooked meal, fresh fruits and juice. The staff are very friendly and incredibly helpful. They went above and beyond in every way, particularly in arranging for a lovely surprise birthday cake and decorations in the room. They also helped us pre arrange a number of activities before we had arrived. I would highly recommend a stay here!
