Oikein kiva kylpylä aikuiseen makuun. Hyvät saunat, poreallas ja pieni uima-allas. Huoneet ok, toki päivittämisen tarvetta hieman. Ravintolasta löytyi hyvät ruoat ja palvelu oli hyvää. Tullaan taas uudemmmankin kerran!

The Kumpeli Spa is set in a beautiful location right next to a lake. To get there without a car is a bit of a scramble - it took a train from Helsinki to Lahti, then a bus to Heinola. Finally, about a .8 mile walk from the bus stop. It has many facilities for luxuriating. The breakfast was very good and dinner was also quite delicious (this is not included in the price). My room was on the first floor and had a door right out to the lake. The furniture and room used lots of wood and felt a little dated. The bathroom was good. Plenty of outlets and places to store clothes. There is a disc golf course right next door and a world class disc golf park (Kippis) about 2 miles away (taxi or bus).
The room felt a little dark and dated, but with the curtains open and sunshine coming in, it felt quite comfortable.

This is a spa hotel. The rooms could do with a bot of refurbishment and I understand this is under way. The spa was excellent, with three different sorts of sauna (of course - Finland), a steam room, a swimming pool, 2 jacuzzis, a plunge pool and a pebble beed foot massager. There is also a reasonably well-equipped small gym. Restaurant food was good. Bar closes a bit early at 22:30 sharp

Location and surrounding nature, which we knew already.
I was very surprised to see even there were clearly signs on Sauna doors, no swimming suits, everyone was with swimming suits and no towel below them!!!! So everyone was sweating on the woods , and no personal gave any kind of warning, like it was very normal!!! I have been to this hotel 8-9 years ego and wasn’t like this! Hotel is really old and seems they dont like to change or renovate 😅 breakfast veryyyy limited
