Good location and comfortable

Super close to main touristic spots, clean, beautiful Marimekko houseware and nice personal

It would be nice is there is mixed gender sauna too

Very close to old town and the church and bus station

Good bed and a minifridge. Verry clean place and spot on in the center of Porvoo.

Room was too hot. Opening the window let all the noise in. Allthough there's not much the hotel can do about street noise.

Good Breakfast, good location

The fact that staff (including a receptionist) was present only during the morning and could not have access to information a traveller needs during afternoon or evening. Room was too small. If you arrive after noon time to check-in, there is no one to deliver keys, or explain and listen for any of your needs during your stay.

The room is cozy and well designed

the room doesn’t have proper blackout curtains. the width of the curtains are not enough to make the room dark. thus in summer days the room becomes bright quite early.

Fair value for money if you're not looking for accessories.

Price-quality ratio was quite good. Accomondation was clean and most likely recently renovated. Room was slightly plainly decorated and equipped. Breakfast was simple, but still very valid and good from fresh ingridients. Location of the hotel in the middle of the city was good - all the main attractions can easily be reached by foot. Several restaurants and shops within few minutes walk.

The city block, where hotel is located, is in middle of maybe most busy are of city centrum. Streets passing the hotel are a bit narrow and easily crowded, so the hotel is slightly difficult to reach by car. The parking space offered by hotel can be very tight depending on which place you receive. The hotel entrance is very modest and not that notable.

The rooms seem very basic. Very sterile

Comfortable chair, better towels. I realize that you are not trying to be the Radisson. but some upgrades are needed if people are expected to come back. especially business people. I have rented four rooms in the last six months and believe I need to try another hotel.

Nice weekend stay

The location was great! Just walking distance from the old town. Also right next to the grocery store. We also liked the fact that they have parking spaces because we brought our car with us. The breakfast had good options for vegans, not a lot but better than other places we've been to. The place was also clean and rooms were spacious.

There was no mini fridge. I had to bring my portable fridge because I needed to store my child's milk.

Product : the hotel service was very clean and tidy, price was according to its level . Place which means the location of the hotel is the ideal one. Promotion : it was easily available at the book.com The people: We were satisfied with the customer friendly attitude of the staff Physical evidence : the staff got uniforms , the hotel logo is easily visible . Process : the way they treat the customer was great , a very well organised breakfast was there ,the bath room, comfortable bed with some facilities in the room were fine.

A very nice place worth its money.

A clean place to stay in the center of Porvoo with nice and welcoming personnel willing to answer any question. Dry and isolated indoor parking that cost only 15€. Spacious rooms. Delicious breakfast that contains everything one can wish: both meat and vegan dishes. It is very quiet: you never hear what your neighbors do. Just in several minutes walking from main Porvoo's cultural, architectural and historical sights.

Not too much space for parking. We got to Sparre hotel on motorcycle, and there was just one corner to park it. In the morning, before checkout, I went to check the bike and found that it is blocked by another motorcycle that had parking ticket at the same place. Double booking or something. So I had to get the bike to the street manually for not to damage other vehicles around. And HUUUUUGE pillows. Probably they are fine for most of guests, but as I have some vertebra problems, it was very hard to find a position to fall asleep.

Okay but not worth the money spent

It was clean, and the room contained all the basics, but the style, comfort and atmosphere didn't meet the expectations for the very high price we paid. The location is perfect. Breakfast was okay, basic.

Would be happy with everything if we paid 50 euros less for the night. The service and style of the room didn't meet expectations. Room is styled with Ikea furniture, felt more like an airbnb. The hot dishes at the breakfast weren't great. In general just felt that it wasn't worth the money.

stay was nice and i really liked the interior design in the hotel. even tho the outside of the building was not inviting

property was okay. Inside was nice and cozy interior design and room was wonderful

outside the property looked a little sketchy. coming to the elevator it looked like it was abandoned building

I would come again

breakfast was great. Location was great, right in the centre and just few meters away from old centre of Porvoo. Interiors looked recently renovated and chic. Easy booking through Booking.com.

Rooms lacked with comfort in terms of chairs, there was only one armchair and one "chair". Also bathroom did not have anything to direct the water to the drain so instead water kind of filled water. also rooms had no hangers. Reception closed at 20.00 and you had to ask for separate key to get access to stairway if you were to go out. Rooms did not have their own fridge for customers own use, needed to use communal fridge.
