This is a fun place to soak up the sun, take in the ocean breeze, and enjoy all that Oak Island has to offer. The house is newly remodeled and ready to entertain. Oak Island, meanwhile, is one of the few South facing islands so you can see the sun rise and set from the beach! The Oak Island pier is not far and free to the public for walking (pay to fish). Surf, fish, sun bathe, or just sit in sand and take in the refreshing feel that can only be obtained with that ocean air! While you will likely be out and about at the beach we hope you will also enjoy our house. You can even see the ocean...really tiny from the end of the driveway lol! Overall stay was excellent. Quiet neighborhood, restaurants, stores were easily accessible. Checkin and check out were very easy.

Overall very pleased with our stay. The home was clean, spacious and had room for our family. Kitchen was well equipped with most items you'd need. We were very happy with the proximity to the beach having the public beach access point down the street. If I were going to make suggestions, I'd recommend having caffeinated coffee on hand and a beach cart would be super helpful.

A few minor issues were handled quickly. Great house for 5+ adults. Short walk to the beach and convenient drive to grocery and restaurants. Would stay again.

Lots of room for our family. Close to the beach. We were able to walk with small children. Interest house history. Clean and spacious especially with children.

The house is very clean and has everything you need for your stay. I did not see a single speck of dirt, grime, or mold. It's a small walk to the beach too. I always worry about what a rental will provide and what they won't, but I was pleasantly surprised they had everything we needed. Toilet paper, hand and dish soap, bath towels, pots, pans, baking sheets, plates, bowls, shot glasses, Daiquiri glasses, beer mugs, regular glasses, mugs, tons a silverware, tongs, spatulas, cutting boards, servings spoons, knives, can opener, tin foil, plastic wrap, wipes, available ice, extra blankets, extra pillows, a drying rack for clothes, a surplus of board games, lots of movies, streaming services, and playing cards, just to name a few things. We had a wonderful stay and may come back next year!

We had a great stay! Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived. The owners thought of everything that would be needed (plenty of toilet paper, towels and wash clothes, detergent, hand soap, trash bags, ect). I highly recommend this house to anyone staying in Oak Island.

The owners were easy to communicate with, and the property was clean and easy to access. The house is laid out a little strangely (the only external locking door enters and exits through a bedroom) but nothing that impeded our stay in any way. It was a great house and a lovey vacation. Nice big kitchen table, lots of sofas to sit on, walkable to the beach. Very good!

This house is only a five minute (or less) walk right to the beach. The property is really nice. Clean and roomy. It sleeps about 8. We only had two people staying so we didn't even use two of the bedrooms. It's in a very quiet neighborhood and quite close to numerous really nice restaurants. We used the Master suite with a King bed and an adjoining bath. I don't think there is a better bargain at VRBO on Oak Island. For the size, location, and the amenities, this property, at the price point it rents for is an absolute great deal. The internet is lightning fast and there are TV's in all three bedrooms plus the living room. I highly recommend this location if you are going to Oak Island.

Tranquil Harbour was a great place to stay for our family vacation. The place is very clean, and close enough to the beach to make for a wonderful vacation. We found it easiest to drive the short distance to the public parking rather than have to carry all our stuff, but there was always parking available. Krista was easy to contact and she answered questions quickly.

Comfortable, easy 1/2 mile walk straight down the road and over the dunes to the beach. House was roomy and comfortable, any small issues were handled quickly. Would rent again.

This was a great place to stay. It was clean and good location. We walked to the beach. The place had lots of games that we enjoyed. The kitchen was helpful to use to cook meals. There is lots of room. I would definitely recommend to others.

A beautiful place at the beach! The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable bedding. It is difficult to find a three bedroom where you have all king and queen beds. The living room, kitchen and dining room were also large with more than ample seating and places for our granddaughter to play. We had 7 in our party and could have easily had ample room for several more. Very clean and a short walk to the beach.

The property was exactly as listed and Krista was timely and thorough with her communication. Great place for a family beach trip or a getaway with a group of friends. It was nice to have the grill outside - though it may be time to replace it as it is starting to fall apart.

We spent 4 nights at this property. House was clean upon arrival. Plenty of sleeping room for everyone and extra seating in the living room. Owner was easy to contact and responded in a timely manner. House was a short 5 min walk to the beach.

The house was great, unbelievably spacious and perfect for our group. We actually rented two places during our stay due to the size of our group and this home was by far the better of the two. It had everything we needed. It is just a short walk down to the beach and the area is far less touristy and busy compared to other nearby locations. We would definitely rent this place again!
