Ancient Monemvasia is a wonderful experience made all the more real by staying in this beautifully restored family house. Nestled just inside the gate and opening onto the main street you have access to the wonders of this amazing castle and town literally on your doorstep. The house was delightfully furnished the bedroom windows looked across the bay as did the rear terraces. Excellent kitchen and bathroom with a fabulous shower. The hosts Noemi and Panos were perfect, great communications and could not of done more for us particularly transportation.

The views ,private patios and helpful staff!
Booking.com had our room listed as "sleeps 3" when that was clearly in error - it's a small room with one bed. The hotel staff could not accommodate the Booking.com error as there was no room for a cot, etc. This error had NOTHING to do with the absolutely lovely hotel in the cliffs~

Incredible views and close to main gate. All around amazing experience. Noemi was so kind to meet us and help with bags and take us to our car when checking out. What a special villa!

Magical
What a great place. Everything was absolutely perfect. The beds were comfortable, the shower was strong and hot. Just like it should be and it was a zero entry. We loved loved the morning sunrises on the patio and the late night on the patio, listening to the clinking of the neighboring restaurant. It is the most picturesque place you can imagine. She even left grapes and figs in the refrigerator for us and a bottle of water. She had everything we could need in the kitchen. Although I ate my meals outside, there was a very nice dining room table and lounge area. The breeze through the house was incredible. This is a great find. I hope I will bring my husband back here someday.
