Movern was a perfect place for our family group of 4 adults. It's set up as a comfy home with lovely decor and a spectacular view of Tobermory harbour. We appreciated having great cooking facilities, a washer & dryer and 2 bathrooms. The host communicated well with us ahead of time, welcomed us in person and showed us around. The walk to and from Main Street, about 10 or so minutes, is pretty as it goes along a wooded area with a waterfall. There are even benches along the road if you need a break as it is a hill. I would highly recommend Movern.

Richard, the host, met us himself upon our arrival. He responded immediately to later queries. The apartment was spacious, scrupulously clean and exceptionally well equipped. In a rainy week in September we were all glad of the warmth of the bathrooms and the plentiful hot water.

Morvern Guest House was one of the best stays of our entire trip. Richard was a great host. He communicated with us before the trip and greeted us when we arrived to show us how to use all the appliances, lights, etc. He also provided food for our first breakfast. The house is gorgeous with beautiful views of the bay. We had more space than we needed, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a washer and dryer. Although the house is on a hill directly above Tobermory, we had no trouble walking the ten minutes down into town. There is a parking space in front of the house. You really could not pick a better place to stay!
We can't think of a thing we didn't like. It was a marvelous stay.
