Breakfast is help yourself even though staff is there to help you if needed. Loads of cereals,fruit,bread,eggs,pancakes and yogurts,tea coffee milk etc. they had gluten free stuff as well which was great as one of the girls is celiac so that was added bonus.

Excellent accomodation and service, great host (Thomas). Comfortable room and plentiful choices for breakfast.

We liked the layout of the building, which provided for snacks and coffee/teas on the first floor, where our room was. The main dining room was downstairs, with an excellent choice of plentiful food, in an unusual layout. The hosts were there to greet us and to look after us in the morning. The rooms were comfortable and to a high standard. It was great to see the building, which was a supermarket and fell into disuse, being re-used and renovated, bringing life back to the main street of Ardara. It was an excellent case study of adaptive re-use of a building which could have been derelict. The owners deserve great support for their work.
Because of the re-use, there were a few quirks, but these did not in any way take away from the positive experience.

Conveniently in town so easy to walk to restaurants etc
Very impersonal sterile reception. Host not on site. Noisy at night and in the morning as it is right on the street. Coffee machine is communal and outside the room.
