Relish great boating and fishing on this full REC lake, explore connected lakes on the ten lake chain, do some eagle watching, bike or ATV on one of the nearby trails, play tennis or shoot hoops on the private court, or just sit and relax (indoors or out) to enjoy the beautiful view. When you're tuckered out from all the fun and fresh lake air, retreat to this rustic, cozy, and newly remodeled north woods cottage. There are 2 comfy bedrooms, (1 Queen, 1 Twin/Full Bunk bed and trundle),and a spacious bathroom with shower, which make this the perfect cottage for a family or for two couples to share.
Enjoy cooking out on the full deck with 3 tables, charcoal grill, and fire pit. There's also a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and everything you need to prepare and serve meals. Minocqua, Woodruff and Lac du Flambeau are all within 15 minutes drive if you prefer to dine out or carry in. Try one of Wisconsin's famous supper clubs in the area.
Guests will enjoy a private (shared with one other cottage) dock. Bring your own boat, or enjoy the use of our paddle boat and kayaks.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property and would gladly return. It was very easy to access with our boat and trailer, and the grounds were beautifully maintained. The pickleball court was a great bonus, and the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with everything we needed.We spent a lot of time relaxing on the deck and around the firepit. Fence Lake was absolutely beautiful on calm days, though it could get quite rough when the wind picked up. The fishing was excellent, and our kids had an amazing time using the kayaks to catch smallmouth bass all along the shoreline.The boat dock was excellent, and when Fence Lake became too windy, we enjoyed exploring the other lakes on the chain. The host was wonderful—responsive, helpful, and quick to answer any questions we had.One of the highlights was being able to bring our dog along, who was thrilled to join us for an Up North vacation. Overall, this was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely book this cabin again.
