Jocols ist genau richtig abgelegen und hat alles war das Herz zum Tauchen (eigene Tauchbasis SSI, grüsst Jan), schnorcheln vom Strand aus oder im Meer, Kajak und SUP braucht. Bietet sich Zwischenstopp auf dem Ronda92 z.B. von Cadaques her nach Rosas oder als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen nach Cadaques (2.5h/Weg) oder Rosas (4h + abholen durch Boot des Joncols vereinbaren).
Die Zimmer sind renoviert und sehr sauber. Für längere Aufenthalte entweder Vollpension buchen oder bei Halbpension punktuell Mittagessen nach Lust und Laune vor Ort vereinbaren. Was man vermissen würde noch in Rosas einkaufen (Snacks, Rauchzeug etc.). Frisches Trinkwasser aus eigener Quelle im Zimmer oder an der Bar immer greifbar.
Frühstück ist umfassend und komplett. Nachtessen einfallsreich und mit viel Liebe gekocht. Eigene Weine inkl. "vin del mar" im Meer gealtert. Erstes Hotel an der Costa Brava welches Biospère zertifiziert ist. Personal herzlich, kompetent, immer freundlich. Medien Detox > der WLAN Empfang ist limitiert auf die Front des Hotels inkl. Lounge und Swimmingpool. Ohne TV perfekter Ort um für ein "Detox".
Anfahrt mit Auto von Rosas über Montjoi (12km asphaltiertes Strässchen) ab dann 6km "Dirtroad", holprig, teils eng, aber gut ohne 4x4 machbar.

Le cadre et la décoration. Ainsi que la restauration excellente et l’amabilité des personnels. Hôtel prêt de la plage.
Difficile d’accès. Difficulté pour visiter les environs mis à part de partir en randonnée. Les draps étaient un peu juste. Chambre simple mais fonctionnelle. Le spa ne fonctionnait pas. Dommage.
