The downtown location is great if ease of access to restaurants and the city center are of importance. The room was comfortable for our family of three and dog. The room included breakfast, fika, and dinner, which was a bonus for us since we needed to stay one week and we were not keen on paying to eat out every night for dinner.
While it was nothing the hotel could control, the proximity to the city bars made for some loud revelers in the wee hours of the morning. The staff was aware this happens, and thankfully provided earplugs at check-in.

Great location and views (when cruise ships leave). Good breakfast, nice option for dinner included.

The room was larger than I had expected and the view was good . The staff were very nice and the room was clean.The shower was roomy and the water was hot with good pressure. The toiletries were quite good. There is free coffee available in the lobby.
The fan in the ensuite would not shut off and it was extremely noisy all night long making sleep difficult.The receptionist tried, but there was nothing he could do to resolve the problem. He offered me another room but unfortunately there was some sort of machinery or generator making a loud hum in this room also. I didn't get much sleep. In addition, the mattress in the room I was in was tired and not very supportive. The pillows were very soft and flat, a bit marshmallowy.
I had paid for dinner in advance but because it is served only until 8pm, and I arrived at 8.45pm, I had to pay extra as a late fee. I was served a lukewarm plate of vegetables covered in cling film/saranwrap. There is a set menu for dinner each day so it can be difficult if one doesn't eat pork or beef.
