A beautiful place. Tuscany style. Lots of taste and atmosphere in every detail. Beautiful picturesque scenery from the room windows. Feels like upscale place. Perfect breakfast experience. Welcoming attitude from the owner and the staff.
Not really suitable for long-term stay with a child (6 days in our case). No self-service laundry, no kettle, the towel rack is not connected in summer, so it is not even possible to dry the hotel towels properly, not to mention the small hand laundry. Lacking chairs in the room. The shower cabin is also very small.

We arrived on the first night of our honeymoon, straight off the road, just as the sun was dropping behind the valley. Rocco met us with a smile and had us settled before we'd caught our breath. The place sits on its own up on the hill, and by evening it was just us, a bottle of wine, and the restaurant's terrace.
Breakfast was a spread of cakes and pastries, an omelette done right, good coffee and the kind of quiet that kept us at the table longer than we'd planned. We'd booked it as a first stop and got something well past that. For the opening night of a trip, it set the bar the rest had to reach.
Just two notes: the rooms don't keep much sound out, and the kitchen, where we ate happily enough, wasn't the best food we had on the trip. BUT we enjoyed this place SO MUCH and really recommend you to go!
