The bathing season lasts almost all year round. Large shopping centers and supermarkets such as Intermarché, Aldi or Lidl can be reached quickly by car. Carvoeiro is the ideal starting point for discovering the Algarve. These include coastal walks, fantastic beaches, the Monchique Mountains with their 900 meters of altitude, Sagres as the most south-westerly point in Europe, historic towns such as Lagos and Silves, an interesting day trip to Lisbon (travel time approx. 2.5 hours) or an eventful day trip to Seville in Spain (travel time approx. 2 hours).
