The property was very spacious for a group of 9. Nice large dining table to all sit around. A good location to explore Scarborough. The sauna was a nice addition too.
This is not a fault as such but the stairs are quite steep so just to be aware of if booking.
I did message the owner on a couple of occasions as there were no additional toilet rolls, smoke alarm started bleeping downstairs and no light in the shower room.

Great location - close to beaches and city centre, but also quite quiet, tucked away in a side road. Beautifully presented and decorated throughout with lots of lovely touches; throws and cushions etc. Lots of period features and a luxurious feel in all the rooms. We were there over the Christmas period and it was decorated really tastefully for Xmas. We made full use of the dining table which can easily seat 8 people. This is a real bonus. A lot of properties of this size do not have a large table so you can all eat together which we wanted to do on Xmas day obviously. The sauna was an added bonus aswell!
It’s pet friendly which was great, but there is no grassed area in the yard for emergencies. Fortunately, our dog is well trained to wait for her morning and evening walks, but I can see that being difficult for a young dog or a dog used to going out to a garden. That said - Peasholm Park was less than 10 mins away which our dog loved.

Lovely period property in a fabulous location, walking distance to shops, beach, park, night life. Spacious accommodation, brilliantly equipped kitchen and a sauna! We were provided with passes for two cars to park outside the house which was an added bonus. Comfortable beds and good WiFi.
The sofas were quite uncomfortable. There are a lot of stairs, some of which are quite steep so take care if you have mobility problems or little kids. The outside area was not very clean.

A beautiful house , we could not have found a better property . Within easy walking distance to the beach and also into town . The sauna was a bonus ,very comfortable beds and lots of lovely fluffy towels . Thank you .
