Koder House is a charming, beautiful and well-maintained slice of history, with possibly the best location in Fort Kochi.
The rooms were magnificently huge and made one feel like living in a different era. The dressing room alone deserves its own special review :) It was a perfect stay, with the most attentive room service staff to boot.
The location alone of course makes it the best choice to stay in Fort Kochi. The property is literally across the square from the legendary Chinese Fishing nets, and cafes and museums and art galleries all around.
While the staff were extremely sweet and eager to assist, their breakfast service was painfully slow. So expect a good one hour plus to be served. Plan your breakfast and plans for the day keeping this mind. It's a small price to pay for such a unique property.

Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage in Fort Cochin. Es ist ein wunderbares Haus mit Geschichte. Die Suite war sehr grosszügig und angrenzend war ein Luxuriöser und grosszügiger Aufenthaltsraum. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und das herrliche Himmelbett sehr bequem
Das Personal an der Reception war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl
Wenn man sich an der belebten Strasse störrt, ist das Hotel ev. nicht geeignet. Wir haben trotzdem gut geschlafen.
Leider war die Poolumgebung eher schmuddelig. Etwas gepflegter, hätte der Aufenthalt im Restaurant noch mehr Spass gemacht

Koder house is a wonderful legacy stay with cordial staff and spacious rooms. The location is a big advantage as it was near Kochi Fort.
The kitchen had a limited menu and the breakfast did not have any local delicacies.
