My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. The location was perfect. It’s right in the middle of everything. Check in was so simple and hassle free. The apartment was perfect for us. The bed, pillows and comforter were very comfortable! We had a great stay and plan to return in the future.

Booking & check-in were a breeze. The lobby, elevator, hallway, and room were clean. My room was exactly as described. I stayed in the middle of the week so the hallways were quiet all night. It is a little noisy outside, and sounds travel easily through the bedroom wall, but I slept well. I stayed at the end of November so it was chilly by the windows but the heating system kept it cozy. Room was furnished with towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, cooking & eating utensils, pots & pans, plates, cups, bowls, minor cleaning products, coffee pot, toaster, and stacking washer/dryer. The TV had Roku & wifi was seamless. Bed and couch were comfy. Parking can be pricey - I used the lot next to the building for $40 for the 2.5 day parking. I believe there is limited free parking along Bates but prefered to be closer and secure at night. The building is a block away from St Andrew's Hall/The Shelter, a beautiful Christmas display and winter fun in Cadillac Square, City Market, a German restaurant, and more. Across the street is a dog park. There is a 7-11 and a diner next door. Overall, this was a great stay in a nice location. I would stay again and recommend highly.

The apartment, for more than half the price of nearby hotels per night, was spacious with nicely designed furniture, a bedroom in center of the apartment so it was very quiet, a nice kitchen with all you need (enough - good quality - coffee for the three days I stayed and I could make my own lunch/breakfast when I worked out of the apartment for some hours before my meetings in Detroit. The shower had good water pressure, one of the things I find quite important when staying somewhere. Also enough clean towels, supplies, etc. The place was really pleasant to work out of as well as to relax in during the late evenings. Beautiful view on the historic County Building and GM headquarters, easy access by code, and a safe stay with friendly security. The Qline (streetcar, free) stops nearby and gives access to Midtown and it is an quick to walk to riverfront (15 min) as well as Michigan Central Station/Newlab (40 mins). I didn’t use bike share, but they are everywhere and the city has implemented several protected bike lanes throughout the city, so that would be an easy option to get around other than by car and enjoy Detroit’s incredible architecture, new energy and resilience. Only a block or two away is a small grocery store and affordable parking ($10 per day/overnight) and even though downtown is not too busy in November, it never felt sketchy to me. The 40 min walk to Corktown in the evening was also totally fine. I had a great stay here and in Detroit.

Nice property, but couch was in need of replacing as it was quite worn. Lovely arcade/bar across street, close to Lafayette Coney, and a great breakfast place next door.

Adding another night 2 days before check-in was not smooth but they were available to work things out. Nice place and I would stay again.

We had a golfing outing at Comerica Park and it was a short walk for us to get there. Located by fun places to go and the listing was exactly what it said it was going to be. Would highly recommend.
