The host's were amazing, Mother and daughter running the place, they did it all, breakfast, welcome reception, check out and even the pool bar! They were accommodating in every way. Taxi's are hard to come by even using the apps, but they called a company and turned up within 10 minutes. The pool is lovely and with the bar beside serving food as well it makes perfect sense. It is few minutes walk to the beach and there are plenty of places to eat and drink. Supermarkets are also close by if you need to pick anything up along with a few souvenir shops as well.
Location, Amentities, Comfort, Accessible, Welcoming... I give this a 10/10
As it is Crete/Greece... Water from taps is not drinkable and if you don't stock up then you have only a couple opportunities in the morning over breakfast to top up the bottle they give you. I'd recommend a quick stop at the shops to get some bottled water just incase you go through what they offer.

The room was nice and comfortable, it had also a balcony. Hotel Anemos Inn by Estia is very clean in general.The breakfast is great and is prepared daily by Maria and her mother(she makes very good cakes). The airport is 7 km faraway(so easy to reach), Heraklion is 8 km faraway, a big supermarket is in a range of 3-4 minutes.The parking place is free of charge.

1. Maria was extremely friendly, she also gave us a parting present.
2. The location was convenient as it was outside of Heraklion with good food nearby.
3. The room had a nice view of the swimming pool.
1. We were given a different room than the one shown in the photos where the shower want enclosed. And the reason was that not all rooms have the bathroom shown in the pictures uploaded, which make the listing pictures somewhat misleading.
2. The breakfast was passable. Some slices of cheese and bread with marmelades, desserts like cakes and bougatsa but one egg per person. And everything taken from a local bakery or grocery store with not so good quality.
3. The towels and sheets were not properly cleaned. We found stains from previous use, especially on the towels that had old makeup marks (which is not inherently the accommodations fault but they could have used newer towels)
