The property was very cosy. We only stayed as a one night stop over en route home so we didn’t really experience the surrounding area or the facilities, but It was comfortable & clean .
Only a very small issue but It was a bit short on mugs . There was only two mugs, so you had to wash the mugs you had the night before when going to bed so that you had cups for your morning coffee. Not the end of the world but not ideal. For an overnight stay it worked perfectly though

Self catering, but great quiet location, spacious. Everything you needed was made available. A nice countryside location with a Farm shop nearby for anything you need

Breakfast wasn’t an option as it was advertised as self catering.
Location was peaceful and scenic.
Great location for all the days out we had planned.
Also had a lovely private outdoor seating area to enjoy the peaceful tranquility & surroundings.
The apartment was spacious with a microwave, toaster, electric cooker, washing machine, kettle, plates, cups & bowls, cuttlery, pots & pans, fridge, television in the main sitting room, heaters, fans, hairdryer.
When washing the dishes we came across a very warn out washing up sponge. I looked everywhere for a fresh new one, but there weren’t any, so had to wash the dishes with that one until we went to the shop & got new ones.
The shower seemed to have poor water pressure which is the same with the hot water tap in the kitchen & the flush in the toilet which means you do have to keep pumping it or hold the handle down. The sink in the bathroom has poor water drainage. After making the bed on the last morning, we saw some traces of red marks at various parts of the bottom of the bed. This was definitely dried blood & it definitely wasn’t ours.
Also on the morning of us leaving, we had 3 wasps in the bathroom flying around. We managed to open the small window for them to fly out, but as we were doing the last checks, we noticed another one in the bathroom. We still don’t understand how they got in with window shut, but we left very quickly.
Make sure you take your own toiletries as the only thing we had supplied was half a bottle of shower gel, (that was more likely to have been left by the previous guests), & half a bottle of hand soap & an empty bottle of body moisturiser which I threw in the bin & wondered why it was left there if the place had been cleaned before our arrival.
As mentioned by other reviews the blind in the hallway by the extra bed doesn’t stay closed and there were a lot of cobwebs with a lot of spiders, but it is an attic room in the countryside.
