Amazing location a few minutes walk from all the attractions on the top floor of an old palazzo. We chose this apartment Fiesole rather than one of the other 5 or 6 in the palazzo, for its roof top terrace and view. And oh boy, what a spectacular view over the roof tops to the Duomo and Santa Croce. ‘A Room With A View’ eat your heart out. Super comfy beds and soft linen. Brilliant air conditioning. We were a family of 5 and One of the kids slept on the sofa which we had asked to be made up. This was not quite as comfy but adequate.
Communication from the Varental agency was poor with slow or no response to emails and phone calls on the day before arrival - the check-in link was not working. I then stumbled across a link to a WhatsApp communication with the agency, more by luck than judgement, and then the problem was sorted out, but it took several calls to Booking who themselves were unable to contact Varental. I suggest you clarify the best of communication at the time of booking.
Minor issues: en-suite shower screen leaking heavily, shower head support broken, paint in shower area shabby and not up the standard of the rest of the apartment. Dishwasher not cleaning properly and many of the dishes needed to be cleaned again by hand.

Lovely apartment well equipped and close to everything, about 10 minutes walk to the Duomo, lovely restaurants around the area, serial killer museum less than a minutes walk a great surprise☺️

Good location
The apartment felt unwelcoming and in need of some love. Out on the balcony upkeep was required weeds in the pot plants etc. there was no dishwasher tablets and the sponge to wash up was so used and shriveled you would not use it on your dishes. The bathroom tap was temperamental.
