This upscale harbourside and waterfront condo is absolutely the perfect spot on Hilton Head for your next stay. Our unit features Italian tile flooring, a full kitchen with granite countertops, a large dining area, an abundance of comfortable seating, and all the amenities to make you feel right at home. Enjoy the open floor plan with sweeping harbour views from large windows and a comfortable private patio. Upstairs, enjoy two master suites, one with a double jetted tub under skylights.
Just outside, enjoy all there is to do at Shelter Cove! There are more than 30 shops and restaurants on the first level of the complex. Take a stroll along the harbour to see all the beautiful yachts and boats. The Marina features Hilton Head Island's largest deep water yacht basin. Every conceivable water sport may be enjoyed here, from deep-sea fishing, inshore fishing charters and crabbing, to sail and powerboat rentals, to sightseeing and nature excursions, to dinner cruises. Shelter Cove is the center of many of the island's evening activities. Harbourfest is held from April through August, and has exhibits, vendors, entertainment, and loads of fun for the entire family. In the summer, enjoy Shannon Tanner, an island tradition for music and storytelling. The theatre and the island's only indoor shopping mall are only steps away. And the beach? Just a mile away -- a comfortable walk or an easy bike ride. Or, since Harbourside is a part of Palmetto Dunes, take advantage of the Dunes Buggy, an air-conditioned van which will pick you up and deliver you to the beach, the mall, or any Palmetto Dunes properties FREE of charge! Beach access is at either of Palmetto Dunes' two beach houses. Stroll along three miles of uncrowded beach. Enjoy canoeing or kayaking on 11 miles of winding lagoons teeming with wildlife. Rent a bike and cruise over miles of paved bike paths, enjoy a little beach cycling along the shore, or just grab the provided chairs, towels and toys and settle in for some relaxation and family time in the sun. In the warmer months, you also have access to our complex's small, private pool, just steps away from our door.
For convenience, there is a Kroger grocery store in the Shelter Cove shopping area, and another — The Fresh Market — is also close by.

Great, great location right on the marina with lots of places to eat and shop right below the room. Very close to most all the things on the main highway on the island. Parking was easy and the building and grounds were in very good condition. The unit was spacious and overall, very clean other than some thick dust behind the furniture, bed and some staining on some of the carpet that was obviously old stains that wouldn't come out. It was well stocked with all the basics and even had some pool toys and such for the kids which was awesome. Just an FYI on the spiral staircase which was disclosed in the listing; it is very narrow, steep and it's very difficult to get luggage up to the bedrooms. I would definitely think twice if you have any mobility issues or small children with you. The only real complaint we had was the air conditioning upstairs. It was hard to get the upstairs which is where the bedrooms are below about 75-76 degrees at night even with everything running. During the day it was not bearable to be upstairs at least 80 when this sun was out. We were a little concerned about the portable air conditioner because it caused the wall in the bathroom to get very warm to the touch which is apparently from the venting pipe. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but wouldn't consider this particular property in the future due to the heat in the bedrooms and the spiral staircase.

The location worked for my family. There was an issue but I didn’t realize it was too late. The host provided compensation.
