Very nice, helpful owners. Interesting breakfast ordering system. Very tasty breakfasts, a large selection of sweet and savory things. A villa estate, peace, quiet and a beautiful view of the mountains. Distance to the sea and therefore to the center of Marina di Massa about 700-850 km (about 7-10 minutes in a quick step). Possibility to rent bicycles, artfully decorated garden.
Very small rooms, even for two people, furnished a bit in an archaic style.

After several visits to Italy, I would not describe Massa and its surroundings as a direct tourist destination. The advantage was that we did not meet tourists at every turn and we heard mainly Italian :-)
Unfortunately the restaurants are mainly with fish and sea products. Typical Italian dishes without shrimps and mussels were really hard to find on the menus of local restaurants. Beaches clean without endless rows of umbrellas like in regular resorts. The beaches were not even crowded with people, which we appreciated during our vacation. In addition, the view of the mountains from the sea was spectacular.
We recommend the destination especially for those who are looking for relaxation with the possibility of good coffee, Italian ice cream without the crowded center of tourists.
We would appreciate options to order more than one mini butter per person :-) However, the staff was very nice and it was no problem to get anything extra.

The couple at the reception was supper nice and helpful. Answered all our questions and provided any asked service, including getting pizza delivered and finding our way around.
The hotel is very well maintained and with clean, big rooms.
Anything in Marina di Massa is reachable by 10 minutes walk.

I'VE BEEN HERE WITH MY FRIENDS. I DIDN'T REALLY EXPECT THAT WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET, BUT WHEN WE ARRIVED AT THE HOTEL THE PICTURES THAT WAS POSTED ON THEIR SITE ARE VERY ACCURATE. THE STAFFS ARE VERY HELPFUL AND THEY REALLY HELPED US IN EVERY WAY AND ON WHAT WE NEED. I REALLY RECOMMEND TO BOOK FOR THEIR BIKES SO ON THE EVENING OR MAYBE ON YOUR FREE TIME YOU CAN GO VISIT THE CITY CENTRE WITH EASE. THE BEACH IS LOCATED 5 MINUTES DISTANCE WALK FROM THE HOTEL. THERE IS A NEAR LOCATED SUPERMARKET, I MEAN BY NEAR IS 5 MINUTES WALK FROM THE HOTEL. THERE ARE LOT OF RESTAURANT WHERE YOU CAN EAT LUNCH AND DINNER. THE BREAKFAST AT THE HOTEL IS AWESOME, THEY HAVE LOT OF VARIETIES STARTING FROM CROISSANTS, ITALIAN HAMS, CHEESES, BREADS, JUICES AND COFFEE/CAPUCCINO. WE ARE REALLY THANKFUL TO THE STAFFS AND WE ENJOYED STAYING HERE. WE WILL SURELY BE BACK AND BOOK AT THEM AGAIN. THANK YOU.
