We came for three nights, stayed for four! There are several condos on offer, we had the one bedroom with the seaview out of the bedroom window upstairs. The front of the condo faced the parking lot, which some people have mentioned. We were there when it was quite hot, so for us, we would not have been hanging out in the front in any case, and besides, there is a lovely sea wall that you can walk across to should you want to be outside and people watch, which we did, and which was very fun! The condo is spacious and clean and has everything you could need. The bed was comfortable (could use better pillows). The shower had good pressure and was big. It was very quiet inside even when the little cafe/bar a bit up on the harborfront had a DJ. The location is fabulous, a quick 10-15 minute walk to Ortega. Being on the harbour was lovely and we enjoy aperativo at the little bar nearby and dinners at Medite (pizza!!!!). Bar to the right as you go through the gate to the harbour, Medite to you left down at the end. There is also a small little beach area at the end of the harbour (left as you go through the gate) and a "sunning" platform that has steps down to the sea and a lovely little area to float. I wish I'd known that was there on day 1 when we arrived and I would have been down for a quick dip every evening. Marcello was an excellent host and sent very clear and helpful directions to park the car and to get into the apartment. He also provided a number of recommendations for the area and was always quick to reply to any questions or needs we had. He partners with (or maybe owns) a boat as well and we had a very enjoyable boat trip around the area. As I mentioned, we booked for three and stayed for four. It is a well situated, fantastic condo and perfect place to relax and get into the rhythm of Siracusa! I'll be back!
Just to be aware - spiral staircase up to the bedroom, which may be a challenge for some. Not a problem for us, so, basically, everything was wonderful!

Parking on site and great location to Ortigia.
If you are tall, it’s easy to bang your head on the spiral staircase trying to get to the washing machine and downstairs bathroom.
