The best place on earth

We had such a warm welcome from Emanuel and his parents. His mum Xinia made us feel completely at home. The house is lovely, spacious and with the most amazing view in Monteverde. Our stay there was very relaxing, just what we needed. It is 30-min away from the town by walk, which was completely doable. Emanuel is great in helping organize excursions and transportation.. We wish we stayed longer !

A home away from home

What a perfect stay! We have travelled the world and this was by far the warmest, kindest, most caring welcome we have received. A real home away from home. And the view, the peace and quiet, as well as the wonderful garden made the stay even more unforgettable. Muchas gracias!

Schöner kann man in Monteverde nicht unterkommen

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist einfach nur malerisch. Das Häuschen ist wunderschön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit.

Cozy and beautiful with a stunning view! Most welcoming and helpful hosts who shared delicious fruits and vegetables from their garden. Best thing was the Nagouti strolling through the garden!

Exceptional

The location was amazing! Gorgeous l sunrises and sunsets looking over the Bay. Rustic and quiet with an incredible host Xinia, who gave a tour of her beautiful Jardin and treated us to fresh fruits from same. Emanuel was excellent in communication and even provided guidance when we got lost.

Just be aware that it is on a dirt road but that is part of costa ricas charm

Beautiful oasis away from all the noise with great view and the best hosts ever

Really beautiful location. Away from the city and all the noise - maybe it would be a little harder without the car, but still managable. Great view - with a clear sky you can see all the way to Nicoya Peninsula. Big garden with lots of fruits and animal visitors - monkeys, toucans, parrots and lots of other birds. And we had the luck to have it all for ourselves. Great chance to meet really lovely and caring Costa Rican people. We did not meet Emanuel in person, but he was very active and helpful in organizing activities and sharing other informations. And he has really lovely parents, who welcomed us and kept checking, if everything is ok. They even gave us fruits and freshly squeezed sugar cane sirup. The accomodation was super clean. The kitchen was full of everything anyone could need - including three different ways to make coffee. The WiFi was reliable and the water in the shower probably the hottest in all of Costa Rica. 😆 We loved it so much that we extended our stay for one more night. We recommend it to everyone! Thanks for everything and pura vida! ❤️ 🇨🇷

we loved the location and the stunning views

A well equipped cabana with a beautiful view. it is outside the small towns of Santa Elena and Monteverde. Those who like birding… ask Ximia for Ecological finca San Luis, which is beautiful and quiet…besides that you can eat here the best pizza’s of Costa Rica.

Great view at cozy place

The view is amazing! Your completely on your own in this small but cozy house. I would recommend a 4x4 to come there, but its a close ride to all nice places to visit. Emmanuel was a great and quick help to give us tips. We visited el tigre waterfalls on his advice which was awesome and had a nice nightwalk. Great value for money place! Highly recommend it.

Great hosts with a great clean location. The view in the morning is spectacular and you're sure to enjoy the quietness of being just on the outskirts of town.

Superb

First of all, Emanuel and his parents are great hosts. Emanuel had great suggestions what to do and look at around Monteverde. He helped us with all our bookings and so on. His parents showed us around the cabin and the fascinating gardens around it. The cabin itself is actually even nicer than it appears on the pictures and you have everything you need there. An added bonus is the great view out front. Staying here is definately recommended.
