Nice small complex with great host near all tavernas and the beach!

Location near the beach and tavernas. The service was great. They helped us if we asked for something!

Small balcony, but they offered us a bigger room with bigger balcony. It was our decision to stay because we were out all day.

A relaxing stay in a cute studio apartment

We loved our apartment here and the hosts were exceptionally friendly, helpful and polite. They helped us out with anything that we needed and had prepared some small breakfast items and water for us upon arrival. The views from the apartment were lovely. The terrace came in handy for watching the Cretan sunset. The apartment was clean, and we were provided with new towels and toiletries during our 7 day stay. Would love to visit again. Thank you Giannis and family for your ten-star hospitality and kindness. Highly recommend!

Cretan hospitality at its best!

This accommodation was the reason we opted for Almyrida and not for Kalyves. We came for the open sea view from the balcony and more than the reasonable price for 11 nights. However, we were welcomed like family. Yes, the studio is cleaned regularly and the internet worked great, too. What we carry as the best memory from the time spent at Meandros, though, is how the hosts went out of there way to make us feel like at home. The amazing family that runs this place redefines the Cretan hospitality we thought we had met with before. Completely surpassed our expectations on so many levels. Thank you so much family Giannetakis! p.s. About additional activities in the area that don't involve a car: We saw a lot of people running and cycling up the streets/roads so we took on walking routes in the mornings. We were always greeted by at least one "Good morning" or "Kalimera" which felt like walking down your own neighborhood. Except that neighborhood had olive grows :) There's a photo from one of our walks attached as well!

Excellent Value, could not ask for more, great location too.

You could not beat the location, value and hospitality of the host.

The room we had was the basic one, for this reason it was a little bit small in that my partner kept stubbing his toe on the bed getting past to sit on the balcony, but then again he is clumsy. :)

Everything location comfortability the people that run the Place they were so nice and kind very warm

Excellent value for money I’ve stayed in a lot of places over in Crete . I was a bit hesitant because Advice not so much in price.I was so wrong the people are so nice

We were treated as valued guests.

Exceptionally good value. We were given a room with a sea view although we had not paid for it. The family could not have been more helpful and welcoming.

A highly recommended place to stay

A wonderful family run hotel 3 minutes away from a beach. The sea view from the balcony is spectacular. The host and his family are very considerate. They greeted us with a water melon and pastries and were very throughtful throughout the whole stay. It's been an absolutely great experience.

Next to the beach with ideal view and fully equipped kitchen in the room. My dog was warmly welcomed in the property!

Nothing everything was perfect. I had whatever I needed. In case I had an inquiry the hosts were there for me! I was remote working. 2 times the router stuck but immediately it was restarted when I asked without any delay. It was a wonderful experience combining remote work and baths/excursions.

I enjoyed Almyrida quiet front beaches, tavernas ,restaurants and bars. Meandros was very good.

Hosts were fantastic and made me feel very welcomed. Genuinely felt very friendly people who provided a very good service. Great location a lovely view from balcony. Thank you Meandros Family.

The shower was basic and a fixed holder would have been better. Also, bed cover sheet was very small.

Great Location. Ended up staying an extra week

Lovely room with balcony overlooking the beach. Great location as it was 3 minutes to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Friendly hosts who were very accommodating and available to answer any questions we had.
