Great view. Super helpful host who also cooked a lovely included breakfast. Lots of bird life around.
Honestly it was all great. A window in the room would be nice for a bit of natural light and a view but there is a nice porch to the front so not the end of the world.

Helpful host!
The track up to the site is best suited to 4x4. I did receive an email to that effect but, as I didn't have an Internet connection, I didn't read it until after my boyfriend got our little hire car stuck on the track. Fortunately our elderly host was more than happy to show him how to drive and got it up there! 🤣

Beautiful location, very nice views of the lake and vulcano
Cozy room
Everything was clean (room and shared bathroom)
Complete breakfast (rice/beans, eggs, platano)
A bit too rustic
30min away from la fortuna, so not the best option if you are on a tight schedule.
Cold water
The owner shares his kitchen with the guests (nice of him, but limits its use a bit)
