The flat is about 10 minutes walk to Prince Street (New Town’s high street.) West End tram stop is just around the corner. There’s a Sainsbury’s Local around 5 minutes by foot to do your food shopping. The location is away from the busy touristy areas (you’re guaranteed peace & quiet as you recover from a whole day’s exploring), and yet near & excellently connected by public transport to the most important spots. The flat is fully equipped with everything you need for a couple of nights (except detergent for the washer/dryer, bring laundry detergent sheets if you want to wash your muddy clothes after hiking up Arthur’s Seat). Otherwise, it is basically your home away from home. The host communicated with us really well, and responds immediately. The guide they provided had everything you need to access the property. Thank you for welcoming us to your lovely flat.

Quite area in the West End, away from the busy centre, specially if you are travelling during the Fringe.
Easy access to property via lock door and coded lock.
The shared hallway to access the property really smells of smoke, but once you're in, the cigarette smell is gone! Really bad neighbours!
Basement flat - part of the Georgian extension during the 1820s, but quite bright as there are windows at both ends (living room and bedroom) and modern.
Living room is comfy with large sofa, TV on wall and electric heaters if you need, open plan with kitchen, looked brand new, with all you need if you want cooking or heating food.
The bedroom is cosy, big bed, space for clothing in closet and shelving. Quite and warm, with nice lighting.
The bathroom is stylish, shower has really good power and there is a washing machine.
All in all, quite a nice space, clean, very good comms with the owner as well. Will definitely book again when back in Edinburgh.
The cigarette smell in the communal hallway, but this is not the landlord's fault. It goes completely away when inside the property, just hold your breath for few seconds if you are a non-smoker until you get in!

Nagyon elégedettek voltunk az apartmannal. A lakás tiszta, rendezett, kényelmes és jól felszerelt volt, minden rendelkezésünkre állt, amire a tartózkodásunk alatt szükségünk volt.
Külön kiemelnénk az elhelyezkedését: a belváros és a főbb látnivalók könnyen, néhány perc sétával elérhetők voltak, mégis egy csendes, nyugodt .
Szívből ajánljuk ezt az apartmant mindenkinek, aki kényelmes és igényes szállást keres🙂

The location was wonderful. It was so easy to get to the city centre, the area was pretty quiet and the flat was furnished nicely.
Unfortunately the neighbour in the flat across the corridor is a really heavy smoker. The communal corridor had a very strong pervasive smell that did get into the inside of the apartment. The bed was also not the comfiest.
