Fabulous restaurant with really great fresh fish.
Excellent location right in the heart of Old Split. Stunning Old Property.
Rooms were very basic. No frills and ours had experienced a bad water leak from an ill functioning shower.

Beautiful decor and felt special staying within theDiocletian’s palace. Comfortable bed and nice room. The rooms are located above the lovely Leonis Restaurant. The location is fantastic as right in the Palace walls.
The stairs are a real challenge if carrying heavy bags, no lift but a male staff member assisted when he saw us struggling which was most appreciated.

The room was very spacious and the Restaurant on the ground floor was great.
The room was on the 4th floor and of course being in the old town it was without lifts.

The clean, nice enough rooms are in a very good, central location near the Golden Gate in the old city, with an excellent restaurant downstairs. Friendly restaurant staff would do their best to assist.
This is not a hotel but, as they say, a restaurant with rooms, which are very much secondary in consideration - all fine but something to be aware of. As the rooms are above the restaurant, there is a lot of noise from (happy) diners, which carries upstairs, especially to those on the first floor, though earplugs sorted that out eventually. Another downside is that breakfast is not until 9am (or running later than that), in order to fit in with restaurant shifts, rather than the requirements of the guests, which is too late if you want to get on with your day, so I missed it on both days I was there and cannot comment on it.
Some elements in the room were a bit tired, such as a plug that came out of the wall and air-con system that wasn't programmed correctly so I couldn't warm up the room on an October night but all in all, the easy location and reasonable price made up for it.
