Recently remodeled with all new fixtures and appliances. Did not do a lot of cooking, but kitchen was well laid out with everything you would need to make all your meals. It was out of the "downtown" area of Bovec, but less than a 5 minute walk to get there. This made it nice and quiet at night.
At the time of our stay (Sep. 2026) it had motion detector lights in the hallway with no way to shut them off at night. So if one person got up to go from the bedroom to the bathroom they would come on, and light up the bedroom. Again, this was at the time of our stay, and we talked to the owners about it. They were going to have the issue taken care of by an electrician soon.

Well, this is not a hotel, so don’t expect hotel-style room service. However, this has been the best vacation rental we have stayed at so far!
The owner, Lado, lives upstairs and gave us a very warm welcome. His English is quite adequate, and since we are from an English-speaking country, we had no major difficulty communicating with him. He recommended a restaurant near the town center, about a 10-minute walk away, and we enjoyed it so much that we went there twice. Lado and his wife also greeted us warmly when we left. We felt like saying goodbye to good friends.
The house is reasonably spacious and very well equipped, with a full kitchen, plenty of cooking utensils, and everything we needed to prepare meals. The bathroom is also large and even has a washing machine, which was very convenient.
As for cleanliness, I would give it a solid 10 out of 10. Everything was clean and well maintained.
The living room has a comfortable sofa and a ceramic heating stove, and there is also a heat-pump air conditioner for heating and cooling. The bed is almost king-size and very comfortable.
The property is only about a 5-minute walk from the center of Bovec, making it very convenient for exploring the town.
In a word, this is a very nice and comfortable place to stay in Bovec, especially if you prefer the space and convenience of a vacation home over a traditional hotel.
If you drive the car, please read their instructions of how to get there carefully.
You may get lost in the narrow small town residential roads especially in a rainy day. The GPS may not give you direction precise enough around the crowded small roads. It is actually not the property’s fault to be fair. Lado promised to provide more obvious signs to show off the property. But I think his current signs are good enough.
