It was very nice and well connected to nearby Attractions.
Staff was really very professional and helpful.
Also there is very nice rooftop cafe and can order over there.
All good bed may be more firm as it was bit lousy

After we changed rooms, the room given overlooked the river and a small side show. The room had a hot shower, good WIFI and was very clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast was good and enjoyed in the room but the choice of food was limited. Staff were friendly, welcoming and their sharing of local knowledge was appreciated. Onward travel was also arranged through the hotel and went smoothly. The location is excellent, close to sight seeing areas and departure points for river cruises. Shops, ATM and restaurants are also close by. We felt very safe walking around and the locals were extremely friendly and willing to share with you their local culture and history. This was a rewarding experience.
The initial room assigned to us did not match the description on Booking.com. The room was on the ground floor, small in size, had bars on the small window and looked at a brick wall about 2meters away when curtains and window were opened. To the hotels credit, we were moved into another room after it was cleaned so check-in was delayed but we enjoyed a welcome drink during this delay.

Hotel Temple on Ganges is perfect location at a Assi Ghart in Varanasi, close to where all the waterfront action is for evening & sunrise ceremonies.
The staff there are really welcoming, friendly & attentive.
I had one of the external rooms, which was wonderful because even though it's super humid outside, in the very early mornings & very late evenings, you could sit on the balcony & take in your surroundings.
Rooms are compact, comfortable & functional, they have everything you need. The bathroom is a wet room, which works well. The beds were firm & comfortable.
The restaurant was fantastic ... the food homely & very tasty ... a fabulous array of vegetarian dishes ... I couldn't stop eating there!! Well done!

The location is good, 2 mins walking from Assi Ghat. The food at the hotel is great. The staff is also good.
The flush in the washroom wasn't working and despite complaining it didn't get fixed. The room shown (river view) on booking.com wasn't the one we got on checkin. They refused to change the room, there was a bigger room available and unlocked throughout our stay and they still didn't provide us with a better room. The price of the room didn't match the expectations at all. The room kettle was also not clean. Although the hotel premise and the room was clean and fresh furniture and fittings I still expected better for this price for a family room.
