Warm & Welcoming Family Retreat in Wine Country
Situated in Santa Rosa, this attractive house for $653 per night is a great choice for your next trip. A grocery store and good restaurants are just a short pleasant walk away! The nearest winery is only 10 minute-drive away. A quick drive to the heart of Santa Rosa and all of it’s bars, restaurants and entertainment, all this while being under an hour from the ocean. The space The property has a laid-back feel and is equipped with all the amenities you will need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Filled with souvenirs from our trips around the world - over 80 countries and counting! Take in the gorgeous views of the hills through the windows in the family room. Binge watch your favorite shows in the family room using the TV. It is hooked up on Roku with Amazon Prime, as well as Netflix. Our full kitchen has everything you need for preparing scrumptious meals for the whole family. We also have a Fully automatic espresso maker & cappuccino maker for the coffee lovers in your group. There is an Automatic motion sensing tap, and a batch feed garbage disposal that only works when the magnetic stopper is used, very safe. We have a beautiful 5-burner Wolf range and new double-convection oven. The Wolf range has a separate simmer ring for every burner. The house has five bedrooms perfect for large groups and extended families. The first three bedrooms have a queen-sized bed and the other two bedrooms each have a single bed. Three available bathrooms makes it very ideal for everyone. For those times you do need to sadly get a little work in, we have reliable high speed internet and an office with monitor and laser printer setup. ADDITIONAL AMENITIES The house has a landline that can be used to call in case of emergencies A new PacMan arcade machine, a huge library of kids books, board games and toys for young ones! The back deck has a natural gas BBQ and plenty of space for outdoor dining or sipping that glass of wine while you enjoy the views of the surrounding hills. No need to worry about power outages at our home - we've got full power backup with 2 Tesla Powerwalls. Speaking of Tesla, if you need to recharge, we have a 220 outlet in the garage, please reach out to us to get access. There are 2 spots in the driveway and plenty of street parking. PET POLICY: Well-behaved pets are allowed with a $500 deposit (paid upfront) Other things to noteThe play structure in the photos has already been removed for safety reasons. Wine Country Family Home
Great vacation house for a multi-generation family holiday! The kids loved all the toys (inside and out) and books available. The "toddler roller coaster" in the backyard was a particular favorite. The adults loved the ample space and amazingly well supplied kitchen--made Thanksgiving prep easy for multiple cooks.

Comfort and Location
This home was in a beautiful neighborhood. It was a great location to visit wineries in Glen Ellen / Sonoma. The home felt much larger inside, with plenty of room for our party of 6 to spread out and be comfortable. Everything we needed was there. We would stay here again.

Clean and spacious vacation rental
We loved staying here with our family of 5. Very clean and well equipped for anything you would need. My daughter who is 7 loved the games,books and toys and especially the playset in the backyard!

Christmas in Sonoma
We rented this house for Christmas with my family. The space was very good since it had a first floor bedroom for my elderly mom. The issues we had were 1. the garbage disposal needs to be replaced. It worked for the first day and then stopped working. (We had one similar 20 years ago, so the issue wasn't that we weren't familiar with this particular model.) 2. The roku stick didn't work, fortunately we were able to run the tv through our iPad. Other than these issues we found the rental good for our needs.

Beautiful home
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, well appointed home. The yard was perfect for our grandkids. We loved the fully stocked kitchen for our meals and the close proximity to the grocery store and wine country. Great trip and wish we could have stayed longer.

Girls Wine weekend
Overall the house was great! Great location, clean, comfortable. The only suggestion I would make is to maybe do away with the kids beds. Two of the bedrooms have bunk type beds (only one elevated twin bed) and if you're all adults it's kind of hard to put someone in those rooms. We made do but no one really wanted to stay in those rooms. Being that was the only negative thing, the house os beautiful and we would definitely go back.

Wonderful place for a family vacation
This home is *incredible* for a Santa Rosa family vacation! Plenty of bedrooms and common spaces, including a wonderful deck for outdoor dining and an amazing backyard that includes multiple play structures for kids. Our daughter loved the yard as well as all the kid-friendly areas inside, with lots of toys and books. The neighborhood is lovely, quiet, and the location is super convenient for outings (lots of wonderful parks nearby). The house was immaculate when we arrived and Ian was a gracious and communicative host throughout. Biggest highlight: The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped for cooking, especially for a big group. Tons of new appliances (2 ovens!), all the serving plates and utensils you could possibly need. Loved that the fridge was clean and empty, ready for us to pack with groceries. We loved our stay and look forward to returning sometime!

Ian's place is wonderful, and so much better than the pictures suggest. The house is roomy and comfortable. The deck and backyard are definitely our favorite parts of this home! We got all we need and we really enjoyed staying here. Amazing hosts and place! We hope to get back soon -- we will sure will!
