Everything was excellent. Clean. Private. All facilities available. So comfortable. Catherine was so awesome, made our stay pleasant,always available. It was such a bonus to have Kiva ( their pet cat) and Mika (dog) at our villa. So beautiful! Fresh fruit watermelon, pawpaw and passionfruit available at the property! Highly Recommend Kaias Villa for any one who is looking for a comfortable stay and wonderful host. Will definitely see you again in the future. Thankyou again.

Catherine's hospitality was exceptional

We recently had the pleasure of staying in Rarotonga for 10 days, and my experience was nothing short of incredible. The accommodation, hosted by the amazing Catherine, made this trip truly unforgettable. First and foremost, Catherine's hospitality was exceptional. We had a mix-up with the time zone, but she graciously accepted us early in the morning, for which I am incredibly grateful. Her warm welcome set the tone for the entire stay. The villa is ideally situated on a spacious plot of land, away from the hustle and bustle of the main road. However, it's just a short stroll down a path to a beautiful snorkeling beach. The convenience of having shops within walking distance was a plus, but we also chose to rent a car/moped to explore the island. This decision allowed us to fully appreciate the tranquil and serene southeast side of the island, which we fell in love with. Upon arrival, we were delighted to find fresh fruit, a thoughtful food package, and ample bottled water provided. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the plunge pool was a delightful way to unwind after a day at the beach. One remarkable feature of the villa is its protected screens that run throughout the bright and airy space. This design allowed for fantastic natural ventilation, and we never once felt the need to use the air conditioning. In all my experiences using Booking.com, this stay stands out as one of the best. It offered us an authentic glimpse into life on Rarotonga, and we cherished every moment. As we depart, I can't help but miss the villa and the enchanting island it's nestled on. If you're looking for an exceptional Rarotonga getaway, this is the place to be. Thank you, Catherine, for making our stay so remarkable. We can't wait to return!

Perfect villa!

Certainly reflected the photos on booking.com Modern villa with a high level of cleanliness. Modern furniture and appliances. Great location close to popular beaches, activities and cafes. Perfect for a small group or family, very relaxing the plunge pool added bonus. Warmly welcomed by the friendly, polite, and respectful owners. Despite all the roosters, we managed to sleep well with little roster alarming noises.

Nothing to not like about this impeccable place. Was tricky to locate the villas, I'd recommend a large sign on the main road would be helpful. I got assistance from a local. The map wasn't much help.

We loved staying here!

Catherine was an excellent host - her and her family live behind the villa and met us when we arrived. She was helpful and lovely, but also gave us privacy. The family has a lovely gentle dog and a couple of cats which were a huge hit with our kids! The property is a back section off the main road. This turned out the be perfect as it was quite windy during our stay and the property was sheltered and sunny. The pool was perfect for our kids as they could get from one side to the other easily. The view from the villa was beautiful - looking out over green grass and coconut palms as well as a very fertile looking flower and vegetable garden which belonged to the extended family. We loved that there were no fences as it felt very spacious and our kids could explore. The beach is directly across the road (very close) with access through a section owned my the family. Easy access to Muri, night market, cafes etc. We went to LBV a number of times as it had great food and coffee and a playground! Good mini mart stores close by. The villa was well equipped, beds very comfortable, bath and beach towels were included. Very handy to have a washing machine and drier.

Nothing, it was perfect for us! Great layout of the house. Hot water was a bit fickle but other than that I can’t think of anything we’d change. We didn’t need the air conditioning but it was great to have an aircon unit in each bedroom. Didn’t have a problem with mosquitos either but mesh over all the windows and doors was a great addition if there were bugs.

We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The villa is beautiful, clean, handy to everywhere and even has its own beach just across the road, which is in one of the best snorkeling areas. Thank you so much Catherine, we loved our stay :-)

Fabulous hosts. Very clean, modern, private accommodation and friendly welcoming hosts.

Location was excellent. It was on family property which had been with the family for generations. A separate, fully equipped villa with all the amenities, we felt part of the welcoming family without the commercial feel. It was a great place to unwind. Magnificient view of the mountains. Beach only down the drive across the property of an uncle, so felt quite exclusive without all the crowds on the beach! Tai and Catherine are excellent hosts. Helpful without being intrusive. They have a great family. It was wonderful to look out and see the wider family, the children playing , the roosters, hens and the family cow! And yet, we felt quite private! It is the place where one would go to relax, and get away from all the busy life in Aotearoa New Zealand cities. Great value for money. The hosts went the extra mile to provide the little extras. We would definitely book with Tai and Catherine again!!!

We needed to have stayed longer. We were there for a family wedding, which was very moving on the beautiful sands of Rarotonga, and the very friendly welcoming people. Wherever we went, we felt welcome. We must return and stay for two weeks.

Home away from home with beautiful lagoon across the road.

Spacious, open plan villa, nice big dining table, big couch, picnic table outside as well as lounge chairs by plunge pool, private beach across the road, loved our daily dip in the beautiful lagoon. Host family were wonderful, made sure we had everything we needed and we enjoyed chatting about common interests. Would love to return if we are in Rarotonga again. Thanks Catherine and Tai

Lovely villas with everything you need for a comfortable self catering stay. Quality furnishings and appliances. Quiet and efficient air conditioning in each bedroom can cool whole villa if needed. Security/insect screens all round and double glazed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Well looked after by owner.

The villas are spacious and super comfortable, with lots of great little personal touches. Walking distance to Muri, but removed from the bustle there. Private plunge pool, access to a private beach with great snorkeling. Catherine was fantastic, super helpful when needed and very accommodating.

Wouldn't change a thing. Exactly what we needed in our holiday accommodation.

Great place to stay, Catherine and Tai are great hosts and very welcoming. Location was great, short walk (3 min) to the beach, for swimming and snorkeling. Approx 4 minute drive into Muri and the night markets. The plunge pool was lovely to hop in and cool down each day. Very clean unit, bed was very comfy, unit was modern and well equipped and great TV with lots of channels to watch. Air conditioner in bedroom was great and all the windows and doors had mozzie screens. Catherine had left bread, butter, milk, yogurt, biscuits and jam to use. Thanks Catherine and Tai for a lovely stay.

This villa was perfect for us. We loved it.

A modern villa with everything we needed. Having aircon in the bedrooms meant we got a good nights sleep. The location was excellent just a short walk to a great beach with the plunge pool as a bonus. It was lovely.

Catherine was lovely and made us feel very welcome. We had a throughly enjoyable holiday.

Nice sized accommodation. Big area for kids to move around and explore beyond the actual villa itself but far away enough from the road that they were safe. The plunge pool was an absolute winner and provided hours of entertainment for our kids. I liked the feeling of being away from the hustle and bustle of town and beach but all of it just a walk or short drive away if necessary. Also only a 600m walk to the Love Cafe coffee cart which was definitely the best coffee I had during my stay.

There wouldn’t be much I’d change. Overall we were all happy with nothing to complain about. A microwave would’ve handy though.

Super friendly with all facilities for a nice stay at Rarotonga.

It was perfect to my family. We had everything we needed. It had all new facilities, good to be independent and without the "confusion" of a resort. Close to beach, good snorkeling. We hired a car what makes easier to travel around the island and explore other snorkeling places. Super friendly host, always available. We loved the animal, kids loved them too.

I would like to stay longer, but I had to return to reality/home !!!!! :)

The property was perfect for 2 couples. We loved that there was a washer and dryer and clothes lines to do washing etc. The kitchen facilities were perfect and good to have as we always had left overs from the markets etc. The villa is super modern and has air con in both rooms to keep you cool during the night. The plunge pool was a personal favourite for early morning or late night dips, perfect to have the best of both worlds with the beach being so close or the pool for more privacy if you want down time.

Location was fine just across the road from the beach with a pleasant walk or 3 minute drive into Muri. The plunge pool was a great bonus ,the beds were very comfy the unit was modern and well equipped. Enjoyed the pawpaws that turned up on our doorstep.

Everything. The villa is situated on a family property, we received fresh fruit from their garden. The beach was a very short stroll away. We hired a car but you can walk to nearby shops and restaurants. We found the setting to be very restful and safe. Security screens meant we could leave doors and windows open. Villa well appointed and Equipped for self catering.

Lovely deck and plunge pool, washer and dryer were great to have. Exceptional host even provided some basics in pantry for us as we arrived on a late flight. Our children loved her pets, especially Mika the puppy !

Everything was super easy, great host ,hassle free stay.

Modern, 2 bedroom villa with private pool, walking distance, about 2 mins to the beach, Wonderful host. Definitely planning to return again. Super clean, all the essentials, private, full cooking facilities, central to everything.

There was nothing that we didn't like.
