The facilities and the staff were so lovely, and there were some cute details like a welcome drink and a gorgeous buffet breakfast
It was about 15 mins drive outside of Funchal, but was a quiet little village with some cute little restaurants

The stayed one week at this hotel. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful. We are happy to have stayed in Camara los Lobos in comparison to other places in the island.
The hotel is surrounded by nice restaurants and bars.
We had a room with sea view. However under this room there is a bar and people making noise until late so we requested to change room and the reception agreed.
The pool is nice but not heated. Breakfast is also quite nice with many different options. We also played billiard and had fun.
Depending where you room is the experience may vary. It can get noisy at night under the bar until very late.

Nice hotel, everything in good condition.
If you get a room looking at the street - like we did - the noise might keep you awake at night. Nightlife is going on until 1-2 am.
