Clearly a lot of work has gone into this apartment to convert a property in the heart of the old town into a modern place to stay. There are a LOT of mirrors and LED lights giving a Vegas vibe.
It’s strange that there are no photos of the roof terrace on the website given this is a real feature of the place especially as there is very little natural light in the living area.
The property is clean and well equipped.
I was a little surprised by the communication with the host at times. I asked for advice on travel from parking in Portoroz to Piran and was told I could take buses or taxis. I guess I could’ve worked that out myself and would’ve welcomed some ideas on where buses and taxis might be in relation to the parking. The barrier on the parking was down so my husband had to go over to the restaurant and the rather grumpy staff reluctantly agreed to open it. There is nothing on the apartment door to tell you which one is yours. I had to chase the key pad code and instructions after check in time. On the final day there was a massive storm and Portoroz was flooded out. It was touch and go as to whether we could drive out with the floods and maybe would’ve been nice of the host to check that we were ok. I guess this isn’t their job but would’ve been a considerate touch.

Die Lage ist einfach großartig. Der Gastgeber ist sehr um das Wohl seiner Gäste bemüht. Er antwortet bei Fragen oder kleinen Problemen sofort und kümmert sich um eine Lösung.

Tolle Lage und modern eingerichtet. Super netter Gastgeber, der einem jederzeit weiterhilft. Schöne Dachterrasse wenn das Wetter passt.
Klobrille war gebrochen. Kein abgeschlossenes Schlafzimmer, somit hört man alles aus dem untergelegenen Wohnzimmer.
