Fantastic location; a truly beautiful and spectacular house. It will surely be perfect in winter, with the chance to see the Northern Lights. Comfortable rooms, useful amenities for the trip, and a convenient location for the Golden Circle tour. Highly recommended!
We noticed a bad smell in the bathroom, but the problem was resolved by opening the windows. I’m not sure what it would be like in winter.

It was a really amazing stay! Surprisingly, although the house is very close to the main road near Kerið Crater, it was as quiet as a private house in the middle of the woods.
The kitchen is well equipped, everything is comfortable, and there are two living room areas, providing plenty of space even for the maximum occupancy of six people.
It takes a little bit of planning to share one bathroom, but that's nothing that could ruin your holiday.
We really loved our time here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I can only recommend this place!

Excellent location! Near the town of Selfoss and to the Golden Circle.
Great space for the six of us; lots of room. Lovely views.
Very quiet area.
The stairs/ladder up to the loft are a little tough. I thought I could put my parents there, but it wouldn't have been safe for 75+ year olds.

Amazingly beautiful, immaculate, spacious home close to many attractions on the south coast. A perfect central location, quiet, and comfortable.
