Our stay at Fensalir was outstanding and exceeded expectations. The property is beautifully located in the heart of the Golden Circle region, making it the perfect base for exploring Iceland's natural wonders while still enjoying privacy and tranquility.
The home was spotless, spacious, and very well equipped. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and sauna after long days of sightseeing. The layout worked perfectly for our family, with plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably. The guesthouse provided additional privacy for my wife and I.
The surrounding scenery is stunning, with peaceful countryside views and easy access to major attractions such as Gullfoss, Geysir, and Þingvellir National Park. The host was responsive and helpful, and the check-in process was seamless.
If you're looking for a comfortable, luxurious, and well-located home in Iceland, Fensalir is an excellent choice. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Golden Circle area.

Highly recommend this as a base for discovering Iceland. The hike up Burfell that is behind the home gives spectacular views of the area.

We loved our time here. The home is spacious and clean. Kitchen has everything we needed for a few simple meals. The hot tub and sauna were relaxing and clean. Multiple nights we could see the northern lights which was a big highlight. The location is excellent as well for visiting the Golden Circle. We would highly recommend staying here.
