Beaut cottage in a lovely, peaceful setting.Exceeded our expectations!

We like the idyllic location-in a peaceful village-yet only a 20 minute bus ride into the elegant city of Bath. Thank You Jane & Thierry for sharing your lovely “Garden Hideaway” with us.We have truly enjoyed our stay in your exquisite cottage-so tastefully & elegantly decorated with high quality amenities.It was bright,clean & spacious yet cosy with lots of wardrobe space.Thank You for your welcoming treats-a nice Surprise!We have certainly enjoyed the Bubbly! It certainly was a delightful “Hideaway” with a pretty garden.We will certainly share our happy experience in your gorgeous, comfortable cottage with our family & friends.Thanks again Jane & Thierry for being thoughtful & welcoming hosts.

Modern, well-equipped, quiet - a delightful place to stay!

An absolutely delightful self-contained unit on the side of the main property. All the facilities were modern and the equipment was good. It was spacious - a lovely place to stay. Private parking was good. Nice touches included guide and map books of Bath.

A lovely peaceful secluded/private spot; comfortable and immaculately clean accommodation. Unique!

The lighting in the bedroom was very stark giving a cold effect. Softer bulbs in the bedside lamps and warmer shades would be good. The main ceiling lights in the main room were too much . Dimmers and softer bulbs would help to offer cosiness.

Brilliant Location. Excellent Holiday.

The property is self-contained and was beautifully done up for Christmas. It was very clean, everything you could need was provided for. The extra touches made it feel like the perfect getaway from it all. The hosts were available to us if we needed anything, and made us feel welcome and comfortable. The house is modern so you aren't really lacking for anything. It is far enough away from the city to enjoy a bit of peace and quiet. But close enough if you wanted to spend some time exploring. There are even a few beautiful walks from the property. I only wish our trip was longer.

Absolutely perfect. Very quiet and peaceful in a lovely setting yet so close to Bath itself. The cabin had absolutely everthing you could need or want and is decorated beautifully with lots of lovely personalised touches from lovely jane the very welcoming host. I'll definitely be back Thankyou.

The property was well set out, very clean and a lovely place to stay, it had everything you could need and more. Jane was very welcoming, friendly and couldn’t have been any more helpful. Lots of lovely little touches such as fresh flowers, a little Christmas tree in the living room, biscuits and a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge for when we arrived. The hideaway is situated in a lovely little village and a taxi ride into Bath city centre was only £10. We loved our weekend away here and would definitely recommend it.

Overall a lovely relaxed stay with no distractions, highly recommended.

I would recommend to everyone staying at Bath!

Jane and Thierry have meticulously decorated the property with a modern touch! It is very clean and well equipped. The property is also only a 10 min car journey away to the City Centre. Making it good value for money

the most beautiful little hideaway just outside of Bath offering some lovely country walks and only a 15/20 min bus ride to the centre. Jane was the perfect host greeting us on arrival and reassuring us she was there if we needed anything. We had everything we could need within the property that Jane provided i.e. coffee, milk, and all cooking necessities like pots and pans etc, it was cosy, impeccably clean and warm- with such a lovely back garden to watch the squirrels. We tried Easton Spice for dinner which was delicious and the bathampton mill for the sunday lunch which was lovely. Couldn't recommend Jane's lovely property more!!

A beautiful, relaxing holiday in a lovely home with a magical garden.

The apartment was beautiful and clean, and our hosts could not have done more for us - they were wonderful and so helpful. A lovely place to stay, and because we hired a car it was our base for five weeks. Both my partner and I felt it was the most enjoyable and relaxing holiday we had ever enjoyed, and our hosts had catered for absolutely everything we could possibly need.

For once I can honestly say that everything was perfect.

A uniquely private and lush oasis of calm which I could not fault.

This hideaway is a gorgeous sanctuary which was impeccably clean and very well designed. The extra touches such as the coffee, the shortbread and the freshly cut roses added a personal note and were very much appreciated! The lush garden added a very private atmosphere and it was a real treat waking up to the view from the bedroom window. Our host, Jane, went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. I will definitely return to this secluded gem.

Brilliant and beautiful place to spend time with a loved one!

I loved the way Jane was very warm and forthcoming right from the beginning (when i booked) till the moment we left. She communicated all the information proactively which helped us find the place easily and in general, have a great time. The place itself is clean, well maintained and it is absolutely beautiful. It has a lovely garden and has all the things you could need, including kitchen appliances, cooking pans, crockery,cutlery, wine glasses even!

Had there been breakfast(even basic), it would have just been awesome! Having said that the convenience store nearby had all the ingredients and the kitchen was well equipped to meet this requirement through cooking on your own.

The Accommodation and Facilities plus Setting were 100 percent exactly as described and perfect.

It was a fabulous location being absolutely spotless with everything you could want with an excellent file of instructions for the TV and Cooker etc. Jane was a wonderful host. Further there was a list of things to do and places to go in the area including local Restaurants and nearby Walks supplied in the living room.

There was absolutely nothing we did not like.

Lovley cosy garden flat 😋

Beautiful relaxing place private. Hosts really nice , got a bottle of prosecco and shortbread ! Near all centre attractions. Can sit out in garden . Lovley place can look out all over the countryside.will be back to book .

Heating was a little tricky to put on but no other issues !.

Ideal accommodation and location for a bath stay away

This was a perfect location for us. Close to the city, but in a quiet tranquil location. The host was really helpful both before and during our stay. My partner and I had a packed but relaxing weekend here and I would definitely return.

Jane the host greeted us and left tea coffee milk etc, even a bottle of Prosecco and a welcome card. One of the best properties we have stayed in.
