The room was bright and airy and had a big balcony overlooking the river (unexpected bonus).
The food offering for dinner wasn't great. It was difficult to find a small meal that included vegetables/salad. I ordered fried chicken but there was no green salad available short of ordering a chicken caesar salad without the chicken!!!

The room was excellent, breakfast very good and the location outstanding. I have recommended to all I know that if they are coming to Bath this is the place to stay.
The Sunday evening supper was poor. We booked a table for 6.30 pm, we could not find someone to confirm our table until about 6.40 and our order wasn't taken until nearly 7 pm, when we had been told the kitchens closed.
We ordered roast Beef and Yorkshire pudding, however when it arrived there was no Yorkshire pudding only to be told that they had run out. when we asked about ice cream we were again informed there was no vanilla ice cream, also they had run out!
there seemed to be little difference between residents and the general public. The establishment must allow for it's residents to order meals earlier to avoid this.

We’ve stayed a few times, but things were just less than standard on this visit. If it weren’t for the location and decor, we’d not be comming back
Food dreadful.
Drinks service at the table took 30 minutes to get the four drinks delivered. Ran out of all meat dishes such as steak. Delayed service in the restaurant, poorly cooked beef on the Sunday lunch menu, burnt Yorkshire puddings, ran out of topping for the sticky toffee pudding desert.

Shower boiling hot then cold then boiling hot then cold
Television
Poor internet connection meant it wasn’t pleasurable to watch Freeview. That said, the TVs are ancient and the Freeview thing isn’t quick or easy to navigate
Noisy room
7.45am deliveries outside the bedroom window make g as much noise as humanly possible
Breakfast
Arrived 30 minutes before end of service but there was no orange juice, no dishes for cereal, sparse offerings of any pastries
