Excellent location, modern, good-quality hotel, kind staff. The balcony with the lake view is amazing, like in the pictures. The private beach too. The parking is easy in the big car parking area next to the hotel, which is not usual in the village. Everything in comfortable walk distance (village center, hiking routes to forest, to waterfall)

The best thing is unquestionably the view from the terrace and how peaceful it is to look over the lake.
The location is quite far from the Hallstatt ferry and main part of Hallstatt with the restaurants and shops. If you don’t have a car, you have to drag your luggage for about 20 minutes to get to this location, so in the future I would opt for the Heritage Hotel or another that also has the great views but is much closer to the ferry. Some other hotels also had options for the hotel to bring your luggage to the property from the ferry but Boutiquestrand did not. Lastly, the reception hours are very spotty so it’s often difficult to find someone to ask questions etc and it is more convenient to have the 24-hour reception desk that some other properties have in the area.
