Da wir WhatsApp nicht nutzen, war es zunächst unklar, wie wir an die relevanten Infos kommen. Dann ging es aber per e-mail. Es hat dann auch die weitere Kommunikation gut funktioniert.
Sehr ruhige Lage, sehr gut vom Bahnhof aus erreichbar. Im weiteren Verlauf des Ufers vom Rio de San Girolamo bzw. Rio della Misericordia kommen viele nette kleine Bars und Osterien. Ein paar Schritte nach Süden kommt dann schon die "Hauptstrasse" zwischen dem Bahnhof und der Rialtobrücke. Wenn man zum Biennale-Gelände möchte, geht man von der Unterkunft nach Norden zur Haltestelle San Alvise. Von dort kommt man dann problemlos zum Nordeingang der Biennale bei der Haltestelle Bacini - Arsenale Nord. Die Klimaanlagen haben sehr gut funktioniert, so dass auch die Schlafzimmer eine angenehme Temperatur erreicht haben (wir waren Ende August/ Anfang September 2026 dort, tagsüber war es um 30°C). Ein Supermarkt ist keine 5 Minuten zu Fuss entfernt. Dort bekommt man alles, wenn man gerne selbst kocht. Jeden Morgen ausser montags ist bei der Haltestelle Guglie morgens Fischmarkt mit frisch gefangenem Fisch, ebenso gibt es frisches Gemüse dort. Auch diese Haltestelle ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss von der Wohnung aus erreichbar.
Für den Preis fanden wir spezielle die Küche etwas spärlich ausgestattet. So waren z.B. zu Beginn keine Espressotassen vorhanden, aber zum Kaffeekochen gab es nur den üblichen Espresso-Kocher, der eine normale Tasse nur halb gefüllt hat. ABER: nachdem wir nachgefragt hatten, ob hier etwas möglich wäre, hatten wir zwei Tage später Espressotassen und noch ein paar andere Dinge für die Küche, Vielen Dank nochmals an die Organisation für diesen Service
Bei den Betten konnten wir keine getrennten Bewertungen abgeben. Daher hier eine wichtige Info: Das Doppelbett ist leicht durchgelegen, hat für uns aber gut funktioniert. Das Schlafsofa ist für eine erwachsene Person, die leichte Rückenprobleme hat, keine Option. Man spürt das Gestänge der Bettmechanik beim Liegen. Hier wäre eine zusätzliche Matratzenauflage wünschenswert.

Good location, convenient for a week of exploring the city. There was aircon if you needed it.
Despite having to pay a later check in fee, we were not met at the property, instead having to send photos of ourselves with passports outside the property before being remotely let in.
Incredibly noisy neighbours who came home very late at night, shouting in communal areas then getting up in middle of night and again at 5am and you could hear everything through the ceiling.
Given we weren’t met on arrival at the apartment we found it without electricity since the cleaner had accidentally turned it off. Quickly rectified as was an issue during the week with the shower, but it didn’t leave a great first impression. If you ran more than two electrical appliances at a time the whole electrical supply was likely to cut out, didn’t inspire confidence in the wiring. Have stayed in Venice many times, but never had this issue before.

"Very quiet but in a GREAT spot in the Cannaregio district. From the water taxi stop at Guglio, about a 10 minute walk through alleyways and a couple bridges. Easy.
