We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Said is an amazing host , always kind, helpful and easy to communicate with.
The house is beautifully designed with so much attention to detail. We felt at home from the very first moment. The pool area is simply perfect for relaxing, and honestly, we could have spent the entire holiday there without ever leaving the house.
Everything was spotless and very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Essaouira. Thank you, Said, for making our stay so special!

The house is so beautiful, inside and out. The architecture works so well for the climate, air can flow through and there is plenty of shady spots to sit. The pool area is very nice, clean and inviting.

In 2005 we rented this villa by the German architect, and twenty years later we decided to revisit the villa based on the many fine reviews. Also this time we enjoyed staying in a well-designed and well-maintained house, nicely decorated with paintings and other pieces of Moroccan arts and crafts. And with something new: a swimmingpool replacing an outdoor bathtub.
The owner, Saïd, was very attentive and concerned about our well-being. He even brought us a delicious homemade tajine on the day of our arrival. Khadija, the maid, cleaned the villa every day, and she also took care of the many flowers, bushes and trees in the garden.
When you drive to the villa from the bigger road from Essaouira to Agadir, you realize that the whole area ( Diabat) is undergoing transformation, from having been part of the countryside to becoming a kind of suburb to Essaouira. At the street, Douar Ghazoua, quite many big and elegant villas are already built or under construction. Fortunately we were not disturbed by - noisy -construction work during our 14 days stay; when we closed the gate to the street, we felt extremely safe and comfortable in the villa and its garden.

L'emplacement. L'amabilité de Saïd et Khadija.
Le bruit du voisinage (nombreux chiens du voisin hurlant toute la nuit, bruit des travaux des nombreuses maisons en construction à proximité). L'absence d'ocultation dans les chambres. L'absence d'intimité des chambres.
