Beautifully decorated, spacious, comfortable bed. Pretty good location for the price! Walkable to old town and train station.
The shower tub was not clean and the shower head did not attach to the wall. No coffee provided. Could overlook these for how nice the apartment was though. It would be easy for the place to improve those couple things to make it great. Self-check-in was also a bit difficult with a mix of auto booking.com messages and WhatsApp messages that were saying different codes for the lockbox. There is no number or anything on the apartment unit door to identify it so we felt uncomfortable putting the key in without knowing for sure. For other North American travelers, in Europe the first floor is “floor 0” so their their third floor would be considered our fourth. (To help you find the room!)

I don’t usually leave a negative review, but all of the little inconveniences added up felt like enough to write here as they made our stay less enjoyable. The apartment itself is aesthetically pleasing, comfortable, and spacious. For the things that went wrong, when checking-in, they told us there was no identifying information on the specific door and was just told it was the door in front of the stairs. The door did in fact have a name plaque on it that could have been used to easily identify it. When asked when we would arrive, I said 2pm (even though check-in is stated for 3pm) and I didn’t get a counter response. When we arrived around 2:15pm, all of the previous guests’ towels and bedsheets were still there. I had to contact the manager of the apartment who then had to contact the cleaning lady to come and clean while we stepped out. If I hadn’t reached out, I am uncertain if the apartment would have been cleaned in the time between 2:30pm (when we left to get lunch) and 3:00pm. On the second day, the WiFi abruptly stopped working and said the WiFi password was incorrect. We tried numerous times to reconnect and when I reached out to the manager, they said the password hadn’t been changed and to check the WiFi router for the information (which is what they were providing online but still didn’t work). The manager wasn’t entirely helpful in getting this issue resolved and we were offered no apologies for not having WiFi for the rest of our stay. Because of that, we had to purchase new data plans as we ran through our original ones with 5 days of not having the WiFi we were expecting to have when we paid for this apartment rental. Lastly for check-out, they expected us to wash the dishes but didn’t provide dish soap to do so.
