The room (Leonard Cohen) was comfortable with the small balcony as an extra perk. The hotel is very well located with a great rooftop offering amazing views.
Some stairs leading up to the hotel but the whole of Hydra is a bit like that

The rooftop terrace and view has to be the best in Hydra. It’s for everyone to use but we found we had it to ourselves every time. No better spot to take pictures. Even the views from the windows in the room are beautiful. Coming home every day to the most beautiful and friendly resident cat was a real treat. We have a cat and miss it when we’re away so this helped a lot. Room, bed, shower all good.
Nothing to wash the dishes so we had to use hand soap. Not a big deal but should have been something to clean with in the kitchen. No formal check in or check out and only seen a cleaner the whole time. We didn’t need anybody but not sure what we’d have done if we did.
