Location convenient for our needs. Quiet neighborhood, close to Metro station and bus stops - easy access to sights. Restaurants etc close by.
Clean, spacious room with a minibar and a kettle. Nice bathroom.
Affordable price.
Parking on site (extra charge)
1) In the first room they gave us, the air conditioning wasn't working. So, the staff moved us to another, smaller room without a sofa, which wasn’t very convenient. The staff told us we could adjust the air conditioning using the room’s thermostat. However, that wasn’t the case. The air conditioning was centrally controlled, didn’t cool the room sufficiently, and was so noisy that it was hard to sleep at night.
2) In the (double) room, there was (only) one chair next to a small table and a floor lamp, but there was no wall outlet to plug in the lamp (!!).
3) The access cards for the hotel facilities and the room didn’t always work.
4) Breakfast offered limited choices; it was acceptable, but it could use some improvement.
5) The extra charge for the parking (20euros/night) is expensive.
Overall, next time we’ll book a different hotel.

The location
The AC in the room was not working properly and it was extremely hot. I mentioned to the reception but they explained to me that the AC was centrally operated was getting turned on only after 11AM. However I did not notice any difference in the AC operation even after 11 AM. I think I was lied to...

The location was pretty good. The staff was pretty friendly. The rooftop had a nice view.
Booking.com's site does not make it clear that this is NOT a hotel but a student dormitory. Only university students on all floors and then one floor of "hotel" rooms. The pictures are outdated – it is way less fresh and clean looking, it's pretty dingy and drab. The AC is super weak, we had to ask for a fan as we were melting in the 37 degree heat. Everything feels worn and dirty – to get to the gym you have to walk through the students' study rooms, which is very awkward. We felt totally out of place and would not recommend staying here. What made it worse was that the students kept walking through the gym to smoke and left the doors to the alley open, so we were inhaling smoke while trying to exercise. Truly terrible. Would not stay here again.
Oh and the entire building is under construction.
