Wonderful Family Stay with Outstanding Service We had a wonderful stay at Crowne Plaza Shanghai, especially travelling with our family. The hotel has a great location on Nanjing Road, making it very convenient to explore Shanghai, with plenty of shopping, restaurants, and attractions nearby. One of the highlights for our children was the Kids Theme Family Room. It was such a lovely touch and made our stay extra special for the kids. The family-friendly setup was comfortable, thoughtful, and added a wonderful element to our Shanghai trip. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, but I would especially like to compliment Duty Manager, Mr. Gavin, for his outstanding service. We encountered a booking discrepancy with our reservation through Booking.com, which initially caused some concern. Mr. Gavin handled the situation with exceptional professionalism, patience, and genuine care. He went above and beyond to assist us, finding a solution and providing a magnificent service recovery. His personal attention and willingness to help truly exceeded our expectations. What impressed us most was that he didn't simply resolve the issue, he made sure that we felt valued and well taken care of as guests. His warm and professional approach is a wonderful reflection of the level of hospitality the hotel strives to provide. Overall, we had a fantastic family experience at Crowne Plaza Shanghai. From the excellent location and Kids Theme Family Room to the friendly staff and exceptional service from Mr. Gavin, our stay was truly memorable. A special thank you to Mr. Gavin for turning a potentially stressful situation into a positive and memorable experience. He is certainly an outstanding asset to the hotel. We would be very happy to stay here again and highly recommend Crowne Plaza Shanghai to families visiting Shanghai!

The room was clean, well appointed and spacious.

The concierge is a mixed bag. Liam and Heaven were extremely helpful and accomodation. The same can’t be said for Kevin and his sidekick, extremely rude, unhelpful and uninterested for front facing staff, putting a downer to our stay.
