First, understand that I am rating a working monastery that offers rooms. If you come here looking for the ultimate in luxury for €50 or €60, just don't. But I received a warm welcome. There was a private room and a private bathroom. There were plenty of common areas for me to spread out in: a bar area, a sitting room, a cafeteria. The breakfast provided in the morning was very good. It was above the average breakfast provided by a hotel, again, at a monastery. For €16, I had dinner there the night before, which included wine, water, bread, and two courses, the first one being pasta and the second one being roasted potatoes, chicken and salad. And then my choice of dessert. You were able to tour part of the monastery. The mural is amazing. And I did this as part of doing the Camino de Santiago spiritual variant, which made it even more poignant. Seriously, a great place to stay.
Were the beds a little hard... Yes. Were the rooms not soundproof... It turns out the monks that they built them for didn't party much, but the Scots that stayed the same night I was there did. They tempered down by 10 pm. If you come here and start complaining that the beds are too hard or that they didn't provide luxury amenities, you don't get the point of staying at a monastery. I'm not putting this as what I didn't like. I'm putting this in to buffer those who complain about what they don't like about this place, forgetting that it's a monastery. It was great.

The best experience during our Camino walk. Staying in a monastery was the best decision. They have plenty of rooms with attached bathrooms. Provided clean towel and hair dryer. The church and the museum just beside the stay you can visit. They offered a dinner €16 for full course meal and served with wine. Breakfast was served by buffet style and they provided some nice pastries on your table. They organised everything very well, just like a hotel but is in the monastery. Highly recommend here to experience a stay in monastery. The lobby staff who received us was a very kind and friendly lady, she was very helpful with all the pilgrims. Will visit here again!
Wifi connection a little poor in room, strong connection at the lobby

Amazing building, good location to break up t be pontevedra to Armenteira stage if you’re wanting a rest/easy day. Very clean. Simple but comfortable rooms with en-suite (lovely to ease muscles in the bath). The receptionist was nice. Entry into the museum included in your stay.
The meals were not good quality. The breakfast is mostly pre-packaged muffins, biscuits, croissants, nothing of substance. Dinner was mass heated veg soup, plain rice and pork, then a custardy thing all for €16. It’s at 9 which was late for some pilgrims. If you have the energy find a place in town. There was a group of 50 teenagers shouting and playing music on my floor.
