Wonderful view.

It felt like you were living in the clouds with a wonderful view. We only stayed 2 nights but it had all the facilities you needed for a longer stay. A fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. Sitting on the large balcony in the morning and the evening was glorious. We had a car but there is taxis/uber you can get to take you into the small town. Some of the trips offer pick ups.

Charming chalet, spectacular views and a wonderful host

The view from the deck was stunning. Damaris Y Ariana met us upon arrival and was very responsive to all of our questions and requests. The yard was beautiful with flowers and fruit trees. The house was comfortable with plenty of room for 2 couples. Damaris Ariana arranged a Night Tour and dinner at the farm next door (even walked us there in the pouring rain). David our night tour guide was well prepared, spoke perfect English and had a real passion for the eco-systems and small creatures of Costa Rica. The farm-to-table traditional dinner was delicious (the portions were very large). The chalet was clean and had most of the cooking amenities we needed. We would definitely return to this charming chalet.

Magnifique avec la possibilité de faire du feu dans le foyer

La propriétaire est très gentille et nous a accueillis pour donner les clés et quelques explications. C’est grand et spacieux. La vue est magnifique!

La route pour se rendre à l’endroit est un peu difficile parfois. Il faut juste faire attention. Mais une fois rendu, cela vaut la peine. La vue est à couper le souffle!

Peaceful, forest and farm, comfortable house.

Perfect location for us, having a car. 10 minutes from Monteverde, next to a farm and a small preserve with a nature trail. The host is so nice and helpful, with a fascinating family history.

We loved everything about this home.

Owner was very helpful and very polite. Overall great trip.

Good views and close to the adventure parks and just minutes from downtown.

Finding the location was pretty difficult. Maybe put the name on the green arrows pointing you in the right direction.

Amazing and beautiful

The place is simply amazing with the most beautiful view. Every morning with a coffee or at night with a glass of wine it was spectacular. At only 10 minutes from the center where you have many restaurants, coffee and market. But away from traffic it was so calm. The house is so cute and the bed is incredibly comfortable. We appreciate making dinner and once again looking at the view. The host are so helpful and so friendly. My husband had the chance to talk to the aunt and she explained a lots of different things about Monteverde. I recommend that place 100% it was a bless and we will definitely come back. Thank you so so much.

A lovely home for a relaxing and comfortable stay in the cloud forest

The location hits the perfect balance between private and a bit out of town without being too remote. The house is well equipped, and the beds are very comfortable.

Very good house, amazing view, everything in the kitchen if you want to cook something. 10 min to the big Centro commercial.

The roads in the area are really tricky, for sure you need an all wheel drive vehicle to drive around Monteverde. Just be ready.

Beautiful location on a hillside with beautiful views. Excellent facilities, e.g. woodburner for chilly evenings, lots of kitchen equipment (blender was great for smoothies). The owner's aunt living next door was very helpful too

A fantastic house in an unbelievable location.

just about everything was superb. The house is very ample, plenty of space, well-equipped kitchen, excellent layout with a homely and comfortable living area. The house has more than you can possible use on a short visit including BBQ and washing machine with everything needed for their use. The gardens are nicely landscaped and the location is absolutely amazing. on the top of a hill, surrounded by vegetation and the views to the surrounding valleys, Pacific Ocean and islands is breathtaking. The house was takes full advantage of the views with the bedrooms and living room facing them with huge windows and a lovely terrace to sit on and enjoy. By far our best accommodation in Costa Rica.

We really cannot think of anything worth mentioning… we would have liked to stay longer.

A wonderful Cloud Forest Mountain hideaway with amazing views!

The property was in an incredibly beautiful location, the hosts are very nice and were very helpful with local attractions and organizing tours. The house is very cozy, with amazing views, and a wood fireplace which made the evenings extra special. We made good use of the kitchen, which was well equipped. The house is very well maintained and was very clean.

There is nothing that we didn’t like about the property.

Great location in Monteverde

Lovely location. Great view of the valley and loads of bird life visible from the balcony. Full kitchen, two bathrooms and a little wood burner were great

The house has a dampness to it, which is understandable given it's in a cloud forest but it does make towels and clothes difficult to dry. A heater downstairs may be helpful

Nice place to stay with the most sweet and helpful hosts.

The owners were amazing, very friendly, very helpful gave a lot of recommendations for activities. This is a two story house with kitchen, laundry area, one bedroom and bathroom upstairs and two bedrooms and one bathroom downstairs.The bed super comfortable and cozy. The view from the house is really nice, very peaceful.

the stairs between first and second floor are steep, but you can enter the house from the first or second floor. I would recommend to get there before dark the first night as it is easy to miss the entrance.

beautiful home with plenty of space !! the views are breathtaking, the yard and house are very well maintained. fully equipped kitchen , lovely spacious bathrooms , great water pressure and hot hot water

the stairs to the lower level are tricky. easy access other ways , so easy to remedy

A real gem amidst the hills of Monte Verde, very close to the trails and adventure agencies such as El Tigre Waterfalls. The place is very large and rustic feeling, and the views are just incredible! The beds are extemely comfortable, had a great night sleep after a long day of adventuring, and was very happy to see that the host had a jar of coffee in the next morning. The host is the most understanding and welcoming! Ensure you have cash handy to pay for the stay (I have missed that information and had to make do last minute, but luckily the host was very patient and collaborative). We wish we could have stayed more there! Definitely booking it again if I were to come back! ~ Pura Vida ~

spacious, smell of clean linens when we opened the property and the view is truly amazing. you can see all the way down to Puntarenus.

Overall it was a great place to stay with unbelievable views.

The view was unbeatable It was quiet very roomy large deck beds were comfortable hiking on farm next door watching birds from deck

Nice place, but hard to reach.

The beautiful view, barbecue facility, good wifi, house was clean and the balcony was nice and spacious.

The road to get to the house is very difficult and bumpy with huge holes all over the road. Four by four highly recommended. The location is far out of the town, so you are pretty isolated. There was no entertainment available such as a TV or board games.
