I had a very comfortable and stress-free stay for the 7 days I was here. The location is brilliant for getting around Paris, especially as it is possible to take a short morning saunter past the Élysée Palace to reach Line 1 (or Miromesnil for the Grands Boulevards). The room was perfectly air conditioned (I kept my room feeling like a fridge throughout my stay), which was very relieving as Paris was still in the grip of a baking heat (the waterfall shower was great for the 3 showers I took per day). The staff were faultless - Mara in particular was superb, and is clearly very, very good at her job. She made everything go so smoothly and was just perfect to talk with. Big thumbs up from me. Mohammed and the other staff were also good - each time I arrived back to the hotel they would hand me a bottle of mineral water or Coke when requested. No issues at all with anyone working at the hotel. The hotel was kept clean throughout. The rooms are definitely smaller than you would find in other cities, but this is Paris. One thing which I absolutely loved was the mirrors and the soundproofing - other than one night when I could hear an American couple making vigorous love at midnight, I didn’t hear a peep from any of the other rooms - delightful! This hotel definitely benefits from being ‘small’ as you don’t get the bustle and noise as you would in a large hotel. This make it perfect for a bit of peace in a busy city.
Some personal tastes: the pillows were far too soft. I always sleep on a firm pillow, so getting used to these butter-like pillows were a challenge (I did recommend this as an improvement when checking out). I also didn’t like having to go to the basement each day to iron my clothes as I don’t like to be seen on a morning without being ‘ready’ (however, I understand this is to limit the risk of a fire). These were minor inconveniences. I think the hotel could smell better on entry. There isn’t anything wrong with the smell at the moment (as mentioned, everything is clean), but I always think a hotel should smell divine when you enter it. Maybe the hotel could purchase some good quality fragrances to make the hotel feel more luxurious. Just a minor point.

What a great find in a lovely little quiet spot in Paris, but only a short walk to a lot of attractions. I would highly recommend.
It was in a great location, but in a relatively quiet street. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
There wasn’t anything we could pick out as disliking.

The staff was kind of rude, spoke poor English and housekeeping entered both days the room without approval while i was inside sleeping
