The staff was amazing, the food was soooo good! It was a little pricey, but it was absolutely worth it. The cafe was a nice bonus too, wonderful coffee and desserts! My only suggestion for anyone wanting to visit, double check what the temperatures will be for the season. we've been to Costa Rica before in July, but where this resort is located, it's much cooler, and we didn't pack enough sweatshirts and pants. One night was in the 50's. The rooms were beautiful and the hot tubs were great! We did have a small problem with the hot tub, but the staff was there in 15 minutes and fixed it! We went zip lining and waterfall repelling, I highly recommend it! The hike to the falls was perfect and beautful.

Dinners were amazing, food was really good quality and delicious flavours. The rooms were beautiful and hot tubs were such a romantic plus. The facilities were great too such as the gym, nature walks with waterfalls, room private hot tubs, yoga classes and spa. I had a fabulous deep tissue massage.
We found the communication with staff quite challenging at times. My partner was trying to organise a surprise day for my birthday and found it really difficult to plan as the staff were seeming to make things challenging and not flexible, which for the price your paying felt disatisfying. We also wanted to do the archery and rent out E bikes but both weren't avaliable for our stay, when we asked about the archery the staff said they'd see what they can do and we never heard back. The price for the airport shuttle was outrageous when on Uber was $200 less... We found the price of some things, again, just crazy...

The locatoon is beautiful secluded valley in the cloud rainforest. The lodge has some marvelous trials back to waterfalls. Lovely.

Everything was perfect! The cabin, the real wood fire, the archery class. The breakfast was also delicious. The location means that you are truly surrounded by nature and it's very easy to relax.
We only stayed for one night and would definitely recommend staying at least 2 or 3 to take advantage of the walks and the other activities. The only slight downside was that it was a pretty chilly evening and the hot tub only reached a warm temperature so we ended up not using it.
